We have 3 of them here. Yes the headphones are junk but all of the brands headphones are lacking. I have had the iPod 30 and they stunk too. My wife has a sansa view I replaced her headphones as well.

Our headphones of choice are the Shure SE530 earbuds. They are pricey but are worth it. In fact you can just get a Sansa Clip and it sounds fantastic with the Shure earbuds. Only reason I have a zune is for video and photo capabilities otherwise for music, the sansa players are great.
I have the same combo. The 120 Zune and the Shures. It makes me sane. Previous to this combo I had the Zen Vision: M and Ultimate Ears Triple Fi Pro 10 earphones (<-- tha' bomb like the Shures, though slightly lower in price compared to Shures)

Today is the first day that I've encountered a problem with the Zune. :ohwell: I created and *thought* I synced a great playlist a couple of days ago. Went for a walk this mornind and *poof* it wasn't there.

Synced my Zune back to my laptop - looks like it's there, resynced -no playlist. It wouldn't recognize it - like a glitch and I couldn't figure out how to reset or refresh, so I deleted it. (then listened to the XXX <metal> Soundtrack to get my aggression out) :killingme

That's been my only problem thus far.

My iPod used to jam up all the time when you connected it to a computer. Very finicky, you have to do everything in the right order or you were stuck waiting a day for the battery to completely drain before you could get it jump started again. Still, it's pretty awesome carrying most of your record collection around in your pocket.

Yeah. Used to be a real pain carrying that vinyl around. And the player didn't fit in your pocket very well either.

If anyone has vinyl anymore I have a turntable with a USB output. When I get done using it, it will be available for use.
