wow...

* a whole episode without Jack...
* We have a hint that the "others" may not have killed those that were abducted.
*We actually have a single character holding a Bible
(remember the meorial service where nobody could figure out what to say???)
*Sawyer might make it back to wise-cracking health...but Saheed is gonna have it out with Annalucia.
*Reunion between kindly Black woman and the Husband she was sure was still alive---this will be good.

Problem: I will be at the mercy of my brother's family when I visit next week and that might mean losing control of the remote!!!! :spank:

I feel kinda robbed... we are exactly where we left off a week ago. :ohwell:
But they did a good job putting 1 and a half seasons into a 1 hour episode.

Me too, but now we have more story. It feels like they are making it up as they go along though....I would like some direction

i have a question that irked me. Remember the episode where they threw sawyer, jin, and michael in that pit and that mexchic asked them "did anyone in your group get sick".......I was waiting to see in this episode something showing someone in their group getting sick or something...but nothing. why would she ask that? or did she not ask that and am I losing my mind with this crazy show?

yeah yeah
Yeah, I am wondering the same as nomoney!

I am also wondering as to why that guy killed Nathan? When she said that he came running out 10 minutes after the plane hit- and he wasnt wet.. I am assuming he was one of the "others". So, what was it with Nathan that he had to have him dead?

He said he killed Nathan because he was afraid that if she did cut Nathan's finger off and Nathan still insisted he was innocent, then she would start to realize she had the wrong man. He did it in the hopes that she would consider it "case closed".

I thought that last night brought a lot of credibility to the theory that the island is a form of pergatory where people are getting judged. All of the flashbacks have shown that these folks all did something that could be conceived of as damning, others more than most. Last night the statement was made that the people who were taken were those who hadn't done anything wrong (or words to that effect.) Walt was taken, and he was also the only one so far who didn't have a skeleton in his closet.

So I'm thinking that the whole purgatory argument just gained a few points in the spread.

When she first opened the door to the bunker, it had the word QUARANTINE written in big letters across the inside of it. I'm guessing that the sickness question dealt with trying to find out if anyone was sick in the other group.

So, as they "die" on the island, they are really going to heaven? They are leaving Purgatory? So, who are the Others? The devils running Purgatory who torment the souls, or angels judging them and escorting the good to Heaven?

Remember how the Step Dad was afraid of Walt? He told Walt's Dad that "things happen" with Walt. They never took that any further and makes you wonder.

there's LOTS of things that they haven't gone back and defined, CMC. i think that's why it's soooooooooooo frustrating! because you start to forget about stuff like walt's 'powers' and then they can bring it back and throw it in your face later!

Finally, we are back to what the series is about. Those past two episodes were too much of a timeout. The ads for next week... the thing is back! :yay:
