SO: How is Judge Moore doing?

It’s going to be pretty easy considering she was an actress and he was a comedian. Actresses kiss people they normally wouldn’t as part of their chosen profession and comedians make jokes.

No actually, you don't kiss anyone on stage. You 'stage kiss' where you just miss the others mouth and make it look like a kiss and you can create a sound effect to match.

And groping is not a joke, it never is (well, unless it's a democrat doing the groping, then I guess it's all a-ok.).

Now we are going to pretend we don’t know what comedy means?

I fail to see the humor in rape. And just because other miscreants joke about it doesn't mean it's not unacceptable and doesn't excuse Al Franken. Not to mention he has made a great show of criticizing Donald Trump for a rather benign statement that got blown out of proportion and misrepresented, while all the while he thinks rape is "comedy".

You're on the wrong side of this one, too, pal.

That might be the way it was in your middle school play, but onstage professionals kiss each other as part of their work. Tongues and all.

I already said that it isn’t my idea of comedy, but plenty of people make rape jokes. Franken is a hack comedian and a terrible writer, but SNL is a satire. It’s still fun watching him squirm and get a little of what he has been dishing out, but a joke is a joke and a skit is a skit.

He could have easily said the photo was a joke, which it was, and that he didn’t actually touch her, and that it was part of the show. There are a lot of ways he could have dismissed that photo and the rest of the story. Really, I don’t know how you get impropriety out of the USO story. He was a writer/talent and she was an actress. The entire show was apparently raunchy as is the norm.

Could it be because the photo was taken without her knowledge or consent? But, I'll make sure to note that, even though Tweeden objected to this photo, that it doesn't matter; it was all in the context of humor and she should have known she would have a sexually salacious photo taken of her without her knowledge and consent. Actually, she had it coming to her.

You progressives have sent a clear message to the rest of us that a woman complaining about sexual misconduct against them doesn't matter as long as you're being funny about it.

Trump tard.

Who did you vote for? Hillary or Bernie or some one else or no one? Just wondering. You don’t have to tell me, but it would interesting to know.

And, just a suggestion, you shouldn’t use such words as ‘tard’. It makes you look like you don’t care about people that have a brain disability, and makes you look lacking. Speaking of lacking, could you please expand on your posts, so that members can understand your point of view. I have never seen you do that; as in your view of politics and all. Thanks.

And, furthermore, Trump was already rich and famous, and he walked into this shiat on his own patriotic accord. The Clintons made their money off of dirty politics; not to mention the mysterious deaths of numerous people. Period. Bernie is a socialist hypocrite that owns multiple houses, and doesn’t equate himself with the masses. Obviously, the majority of Americans wanted a change. They got it, again, so to speak. Go Trump!

Bwhahahaha

Notice her grabbing robins ass as she walks off stage? Oh the freaking horror

Did he complain?

Because that's what you're missing, and I've already spelled it out so I suspect you're being deliberately obtuse.

I have no doubt that Tweeden and Franken had developed a friendship, or at least a camaraderie, during the tour. I also have no doubt that Franken took that pic in jest. Hell, if my male bestie ever runs for office he better pay me off but good.

That is not the point.

The point is the hypocrisy.

The point is Al Franken running around acting all outraged and foaming at the mouth over things that he himself has done. Re: Trump's comments to Billy Bush - had Franken said, "Well duh, everyone knows that," he wouldn't be in the hot seat right now. As it stands, he decided to make political hay out of it and blow it completely out of proportion for political gain. So now the chickens come home to roost.

I can't dumb it down any more for you. You're just going to have to get smarter.

She didn’t complain either. In fact she agreed to the rehearsal knowing there was going to be a kiss, then she went on stage to do that exact skit, and finally she saved the picture as a keepsake.

There is certainly a lot of hypocrisy going around.

Well when Leeanne Tweeden runs for public office, you can certainly bring this up.

So, you're saying that, because of the context of the situation (entertainment), her complaint isn't valid and shouldn't be taken seriously; which stand in contrast to liberals preaching to us that women should feel embolden to come out and be taken seriously?

Do you not understand what acting is? I guess you think porn stars should be able to claim sexual assault years after they make a gangbang movie? Do you also think Daniel Craig should be held accountable for ‘assaulting’ those Bond girls?

So no, a person who willingly takes part in a movie, play, or skit can not be taken seriously when they complain about things that happen to the charecter they are playing on stage as if that happened to them in real life.

.

If required for a close up shoot in a movie or TV sequence yes. Just to show a 'kiss' on stage no.
The clip of LeeAnn Tweeden with Robin Williams that you posted shows exactly that.
