If you don't understand the difference between profiting from speeches and books once your presidency is over and profiting from the presidency during your presidency I can't help you.

So the republicans want to cut healthcare for 24 million people mostly low income. How does that fit with your narrative of the party of the people? What about the removing the alternative minimum tax. Who do you think that benefits? The working class? Wrong again.

I believe Obama profited while in the White House. He certainly came out with a lot more money than he went in with.

Cheating in golf gives you insight to a person's character? My character must suck. But then again, I just played for fun and kicking my ball into a better lie didn't result in any catastrophic consequences. So, I'm comfortable with my character.

You do have a pretty distorted view on Trump and his achievements. His dad may have granted him some startup money, but he has earned his billions - FAIRLY.

The rest of your post comes off as the typical class-warfare, jealous types that feel anyone that has earned a good living owes you something, or stole it from you. It's complete BS.

Whether Trump has our best interest in mind is yet to be seen. I am skeptical; as I have been from the beginning. But, unlike you, I am willing to give him that chance; unlike Hillary, who I know didn't have anyone's interest in mind.
Yeah $10 million in startup money. Must be nice. As to him earning his money fairly have you. Or seen how many lawsuits he hAs had to settle? He just paid $25 million to settle Trump university. So I'd say his cheating st golf shoes he is willing to cheat st many other things.

As to class warfare most of trumps proposed tax changes would benefit me. I would save a lot more with him then Hilary but some things are more important than money. Like making sure handicapped people, the mentally ill, veterans and the elderly have health care. So I'm happy to pay more to make sure we have social safety nets for the less fortunate

What does that even mean "cut healthcare for 24 million people"? Are you saying that whatever Trump passes for a healthcare bill will result in 24 million people never, EVER, EVER being able to get access to healthcare? You mean they're going to die because of Trump? Please go into detail about what you mean?

Read a newspaper. Why do I have to tell you something you should know as an informed person. The most recent health care bill proposed by the dems would have cut acces from 24 million people with preexisting conditions that were covered under Obamacare. Luckily it didn't get enough support

Gee and here I thought Ryans plan didn't go through and the Republicans decided to let Obamacare die of it's own stupidity, designed and shoved thru by democrats.

That's the spin they want you to believe. You think they worked hard to write the bill and the decided st the last second not to try to get the votes to pass it? Are you that brainwashed?

No. It was a crappy bill that would ah e taken away health care from the most vulnerable and couldn't get support to oass

Thank you, Psy. Now, I won't be redundant and post the exact same thoughts.

Are you kidding? Obamacare took from the middle class to support the poor, but most of those poor are sloucher welfare people. Obamacare is/was going to make the middle class poor. Then, there goes America which was the Clintons and the Obamas agenda. Obamacare has to be changed. Period. And, please do not talk to us on here like we are uniformed. We are living it. Thank you.

Just wanted to add. I am not, particularly enamored with Trump's personality, but his heart is in the right place. He is a patriot. If he wasn't, why would have bothered to run for prez? He had it made in the shade. And, the shade is what he is trying to get rid of; same as swamp. It is no skin off his back. I will say on Trump's behalf, that he is less egotistical than Barry or Hillary. And, let's use the new DNC chair, Perez, for an example. He uses curse words and slurs in his speeches. I am sorry, but the Dems have lost their minds because their agenda hit a brick wall called Trump (and remember all those Dems; Pelosi, Reid, etc. thought they would not be affected because they are so rich). And, don't forget the middle class built America, and the rich profited from it. It is called capitalism. That is better than socialism, totalitarianism, communism, and terrorism. JMO, yo.

You should tighten your tinfoil hat. Speaking in republican talking points like sloucher welfare people. Do you honestly believe Clinton and Obama had some nefarious plan to ruin the United States? You need to stop reading infowars and Brietbart.

I have never read Infowars or Brietbart as a choice. I see stuff posted here now and then from those sites. And, yes, I think Clinton(s) and Obama had a nefarious plan to ruin the U.S. I think your tin foil hat is too big, and it is covering your eyes and ears. Maybe, you should get it adjusted.

So how did these two manage to trick the voting population into choosing them if they were going to ruin the country?

Why didn't they succeed? What is their end game?

It's that electoral college thing; part of the Constitution, and why Trump won. No tricks. Obama was chosen because he is black (half white). I didn't vote for him, but I was hopeful at the progress of being bi-racial. He dropped that like a hot potato once he was elected. As far as the Clintons, Bill was impeached, and Hillary lied. That was easy to sort out. Hillary should not have been chosen as the Dem candidate; she was a dead end. It is so obvious that she was promised the next run, but a lot happened in between. As far as libprog Dems, their end game is to be all powerful over the people. And, they didn't succeed because Americans are smarter than the average bear. Thanks, Yogi. Trump deserves a chance to prove himself. And, just to add, Maxine Waters is an idiot (if want reference to people that shouldn't be in office) calling for Trump's impeachment when he has done nothing illegally wrong yet. How's that? Does that answer your questions?

Edit. I love Ted and Kid. Stand your ground, and all. And, I wish I could wear well the off shoulder lacy thing that Sarah was wearing. She looked great. I am too old to wear that, but not too old to stand my ground.

One more comment to CalNew. They were stopped for now. And, if you didn't see their end game, you def had a tinfoil hat prob, or huge blinders. Get with the program. That program is America, and to save Her, and everything She stands for. :patriot:

One more comment to CalNew. If you want to be a sheep or a lemming, more power to you. Both those animals have a short life span. Just sayin'.

Got to keep the country going somehow! Good one! I think we should talk about Springsteen's new release.

Bruce is a rich bastard, too. Like Trump. Why should we listen to him about Trump? I never followed Bruce growing up? He would have never gotten his wealth without the support of the people. What a hypocrite. He could become the poster child of the leapfrogs. He would love nothing better than that. So, much for you living in the USA song back when. He is a traitor in song. So disappointing. Yah, do that Bruce with all your security, money and all, and bash the prez. What a hypo, and a turncoat you are. Your name should have been Benedict Sprintsteen. I hope Springsteen becomes a has been very soon. He should be already. His singing now hurts my ears more now, than it it did back in the day.

Well we will have to agree to disagree about a lot of things but that's what makes America great. This country is equal as much yours as it is mine even though we at every different.

That's the reason I come here to try to understand the other side of the pokitical spectrum.

As far as I'm concerned Obama was a great president. He did a lot of things I agree with. Gay marriage, health care, environmental protections bring down the unemployment rate. There were a few things I don't agree with or would like him to have done differently but I think he was a class act. In my travels around the world I've noticed most people I meet feel the same way. I can't say the same for Trump.

We will have to wait and see but I'm not hopeful.

A good friend told me hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

My mom always told me that about the hope and prepare. She, also, told me hold your nose when you get a shot, and she was right. It didn't hurt. That is called distraction. The Dem/librogs are really good at that. Don't you see what is happening? And, of course, in you travels you would get good feed back about Obama because he bowed to everyone. Well, that has changed, now. Our war vets will appreciate that; especially the dead ones. Go, Trump!

And, what were the a lot of things that Obama did that you agree with? For example, do you like his deal with Iran, and the millions he sent to a known terrorist supporter?

The thing is, the country is supposed to be run under the Constitution. While I find your desire to ensure handicapped people have access to health care insurance, I can't find that in the Constitution. You are relatively wealthy, right? Above the median? So, donate. Or, work with the states to get the state you live in to provide the things you want via your tax dollars. There's a way to pay more in taxes than the minimum you are required - do that. But, don't go outside of the tenth amendment. :patriot:

As far as I'm concerned Obama was a great president. He did a lot of things I agree with. Gay marriage, health care, environmental protections bring down the unemployment rate.

What do you think Obama did for same-sex marriage (you say "gay", but no homosexual was ever denied the right to marry, they simply changed the definition of "marriage" to include same-sex couples). How did Obama lower the unemployment rate - as in, what policy did he institute or champion or change that had that as a result?

There were a few things I don't agree with or would like him to have done differently but I think he was a class act. In my travels around the world I've noticed most people I meet feel the same way. I can't say the same for Trump.

Really? After 3 months you can't find as much to be proud of in Trump as eight years of Obama? That's a shocker

We will have to wait and see but I'm not hopeful.

A good friend told me hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Having an open mind might help, too.

Ted didn't serve and he was a perfectly healthy male. Just what the DOD was looking for. I'm sure there's plenty of truth to his story of acting a fool to avoid serving.

Now he's all behind the military. Sorry you had your chance and failed miserably.

REALLY? And you ask us to read a paper. They would LOSE ACCESS to health care - 24 million?
Care to elaborate?

Is that - persons getting health care free - people buying outrageously expensive healthcare under Obamacare and 24 million of them would be otherwise turned down?
Calling BS on this one.
