Well that their choice, but I am sick of having my tax money subsidize these teams with expensive stadiums and ballfields.
Or at least keep his creepy fantasies to himself. :shudder:
It's actually hilarious that these whining overpaid crybabies are accusing *Trump* of disrespecting them, when they have made a great show of disrespecting not only him, but all of us in this country. The whole idea of taking a knee is to show disrespect for America. So why are they having a #### fit when Trump acknowledges that and calls them out?
when someone silently protests the treatment of minorities in the country you get triggered? If the privilege aren't standing up for the poor and disenfranchised who is going to do it?
silently protests the treatment of minorities in the country
Specifically, what "treatment" are these overpaid thugs protesting? How are they "standing up" for anything...and for what, exactly? What do they expect to accomplish?
Are you that stupid?
I've posted this before but it's time to post this again...
Are you that stupid? So you defend Nazi's and wacka do christians to yell whatever crap they want in the streets .....
in the streets is where it belongs, not in the work place ....
you do not have a right to protest in your employers lobby or in the cube farm where people are trying to work .....
UNLESS your employer condones and encourages it. That is an important distinction.
I've posted this before but it's time to post this again... post Ferguson, MO... The Post sought to compile a record of every fatal police shooting in the nation in 2015, something no government agency had done...
"About this story: The killing of an unarmed black man by a white police officer last year in Ferguson, Mo., ignited a national debate and exposed the federal government’s failure to track the use of deadly force by police. The Washington Post launched a comprehensive project to log every on-duty fatal shooting by police in 2015. The resulting database chronicled shootings nationwide in real time, using news reports and other public sources. The Post compiled data about each death, including the race of those killed, whether they were armed and descriptions of the events. The project revealed that police nationwide were killing more than twice as many people as the FBI had previously reported. "
Their findings...
In a year-long study, The Washington Post found that the kind of incidents that have ignited protests in many U.S. communities — most often, white police officers killing unarmed black men — represent less than 4 percent of fatal police shootings. Meanwhile, The Post found that the great majority of people who died at the hands of the police fit at least one of three categories: they were wielding weapons, they were suicidal or mentally troubled, or they ran when officers told them to halt.

Really, that is the gist of my re-posting these stats. It would be interesting to see what the ratio is for black police officers to white. I mean if you have a police force of say, 50 officers and 45 of them are white officers, pretty sure the chances of you getting shot by a white officer goes up. Also, still dont get the connection between this and our flag or anthem? Why arent they protesting crime in the streets, black on black violence, kids being shot by drug dealers and thugs.
Really, that is the gist of my re-posting these stats.
For those who didn't read the stats... There were a total of 965 fatal shootings by cops in the US in 2015... 90 were unarmed. Those are the numbers regardless of race... and of those numbers less than 4% were unarmed black men being shot by white cops. That means all of the news reporters, talking heads, politicians, etc. have spent a lot of time making it seem like the police forces of America are gunning down innocent minorities when it is not the case at all.
The statistics do not match the outrage when you throw those numbers into the size of the U.S. population. We have 99%+ of the police force in America protecting people, regardless of their race, the best they can. They are dedicated to doing a high risk job every day.
Yes ... if your employer condones it - still does not make it A right ....
and if some owners start pushing back, they in their rights to terminate employers ....
