I've purposely tried to stain a couch just to see if it worked.Jameo said:I bought my couch and love seat from them and that was almost 2 years ago and it's holding up ok. But whatever you do, GET THE STAIN GUARD!!!!! It's worth the extra $$. I've had just about everything split on my couch and it wipes right off. Even grease and blood have come right off

She can be a ROYAL PITA - always finding fault with things. Last night she was talking about going back there to buy an addition to the dining room set that she hadn't gotten before.
Based on that, I'd say
Looks like the one we got - except on one side, there's something extra - like an extra storage panel or something. I just know the one we have is wider than that, but I can't remember.jazz lady said:I'm still debating on getting the entertainment center that matches the Arts & Crafts furniture I'm getting, which is the natural finish shown on the web site. I love the style and just have to see if I'll have enough moola to swing it, but I'll probably wind up getting it. The entertainment center is very sturdy and well-constructed, and I love how you can mix-and-match the components.
It's probably the "Corner Shelf Unit" which is basically a skinny storage tower. It's not show in the picture, but there's a drawing of it below. If you click on the picture itself, it brings up another window that shows different configurations you can use. I'm limited in the width I can use because of the woodstove that sits in the middle of the wall, so I need to do some measuring and configure exactly what can fit in that space.SamSpade said:Looks like the one we got - except on one side, there's something extra - like an extra storage panel or something. I'll have to remember that. Thanks for the tip!Anyway, it took me WEEKS to figure out the light comes on by "touch". There's a tiny metal thing you touch with your finger to turn the lights on. I kept unplugging the thing.

Holy cow! I usually "rotate" my look every other year. I get a new set for the main living area, then when I get bored with it, I move it to the family room (when it's all broken in and comfy for tv watchin' ), then get a new set for the main LR again. While the "look" changes, my taste is usually pretty much the same -- casual classic -- so my other decor transfers easily.jazz lady said:Thanks - I'm sure I will. I've had the same "look" for 20 years. My new motto is "out with the old and in with the new."

It's cool VCF has a sale going on ... like I mentioned before, the things I've gotten from there in the past have all held up pretty well.
So, Jazz, how did it go??jazz lady said:Delivery of my furniture is scheduled and confirmed for tomorrow afternoon. I'm so excited!
