We work here at Pax - and I'm not sure of most companies that do a license check as part of the hiring process...unless the job requires driving a lot.
The employee who filled me in about the man in question is a good friend and wouldn't tell me this for nothing. And I don't think the guy lied unintentionally, from what my friend said. Not to say it MIGHT not be true, but I'm pretty sure it is.
He called this afternoon and left me a message saying he was dealing with an attorney because the dealership wanted to back out of the deal. He didn't say why, but I already knew. It can't hurt to call, and if he's actually driving legally it won't be an issue.
