A number of folks are making a big deal out of a comment that recently came to light where in 1971 Reagan made a "uncomfortable" comment. As a result, many of these folks are claiming that Reagan was a racist (and by association, Republicans)...
Several jokes immediately come to mind. But I'm posting this with only the following comment: the more you learn about the Nazis and their ideology the stranger it gets (I had done some research on Nazi form/function/ideology in art years ago in college and - wow - that was a strange ride)...
The original water-powered textile mill, "Clifton Factory," built in 1812 was rebuilt as a flour mill in 1900 by John Thomas Cecil. Historic district also includes Cecil's County Store and Post Office built in 1906.
