“I am pro life”

I have found that many who claim to be pro life and anti abortion are merely virtue signaling. “Hey look at me, I am pro life, and I am a good person. I vote pro life(whatever that means), and if you don’t vote like me, you’re evil”

Yeah whatever. That is called virtue signaling. Now that Roe V Wade will be overturned, we will hear that term more often. Virtue Signaling….

You have heard of RINOs , well there is also PLINOs-Pro Life In Name Only. I reckon there are plenty of those.

If you are truly Pro Life you are going to be wise enough to know that every one get’s down on their luck at one time or another, And often that is the case with a single mother. If you have to say “Pick yourself up by the bootstraps” , you are a PLINO.

Don’t be claiming you are pro Life if you want your taxes to be spent making laws that ensures that she has that baby, but no taxes on helping her and that baby live decently, safely and healthy. If you aren’t for spending tax payer funds on her prenatal , neonatal, well baby check ups and care, and postpartum care, then you are not pro life, you are pro birth. And for the child to be safe and cared for growing up. Anti-welfare is not pro life.

This thread is annoying for me. There's huge difference between being Pro Life and being Anti-Abortion.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that someone who has gone through an abortion.... may have been predestined to make that choice and how they deal with it is what they will be judged on as well? Haven't we all made desperate mistakes?

I abhor the idea of a vacuum hose sucking a baby out of the womb.... and I hate partial birth even worse.... but how can I withhold that escape from a woman who is so desperate... she would do anything rather than remain pregnant.

Sure we say... you can adopt it out.... but there's something about carrying a child to term and then handing it off... that goes against the human female's natural tendencies.... IMHO....

We say we are pro-life... but then we shut down planned parenthood [a source of birth control pills and regular check ups]. Yes... I got angry when I heard they were funding the work by selling baby body parts.... but still.... they were offering help.... shutting down food stamp programs and housing programs for women who keep their babies gets top billing with some.

We tell women.... keep your legs shut..... but God built in passion. We tell men to keep their thing in their pants.... but God built in passion.

Has it occurred that when the population numbers started to get overwhelming.... more lesbians started to talk about adopting babies? Was that part of the plan? Definitely not according to those who would take away food stamp programs or housing for single moms.

I was raised to abhor abortion.... I even quoted "as for me and my household... we will serve the Lord" but Bathsheba served the Lord.... and David prayed over the dying child.... if it happened to David and Bathsheba.... how likely are we non-biblical average humans supposed to put ourselves in any other position.

Someone just murdered 19 children..... in school.... and I bet he would say he hates abortion too... right?

I am totally disgusted with the way people treat babies now. It's a wonder God allows women to still reproduce... the world has become a horrible place to raise babies.... they have to sing their Disney songs in fall out shelters where they are in hiding.

I'm Pro-Life.... when I said "no" to abortion.... I lived up to it. I raised a wonderful daughter... and proved my Pro-Life label to be true.

If you haven't done anything to make life better for babies... then you might as well be pro-abortion.... because there's more to having babies than shooting them out of a whole in the body.... wake up.... make life better for babies and old people.... then you can claim the Pro-Life label for yourself.... until then... IMHO... you should shut the f&^k up.

That's my story and I'm sticking too it....

We are not caring for children. We are not caring for their mothers.

The only thing that is fueling this.... is politics.

That's my point. Stop hating and start helping.

That's my point.... stop making speeches and start doing something to make it work.

Geeze... you don't get the point.... the point is.... take care of the children.....take care of the mothers.

Geeze...

It is mostly the American negro that has multiple children with no father and the democrat party rewards them with your tax money how about that, why would you work when you can get laid have a child and dont care who or where the father is and get free money that is why they will always vote for a democrat and you can thank LBJ for that!

Please define the level of support that you feel would be sufficient to Take Care of the Children as you call it.

Are children going hungry, yes. Are children starving to death in the US, very rarely.
A minimum level of subsistence is available to all with the WIC program. Do we need to provide the best for all? No.

The same applies to taking care of the mothers. Again, look at the WIC program. Nutritious food available for all who need it.
Is it the best? No. But it prevents starvation.

Food banks/food pantries are also available. Clothes closets at churches are available. Assistance with rent (8a). Assistance with day care expenses. Free cell phones are available. Free internet is available.

itsbob is correct. We already do that.

No hate here. No politics here. Just facts that are being ignored.

How much more of MY money would you like to steal?...
Here's a novel idea that's worked for girls who actually LISTENED to their parents....DON'T HAVE BABIES UNLESS YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF THEM!!!!

Making the issue political is how they divide us up to stay in power. Oh and planned parenthood donates $$$$ to democrat politicians campaigns. Where do you think they get their money that they donate? I can bet you it’s not from these mothers living in poverty utilizing planned parenthood services. Federal tax dollars maybe? If the latter was the case they are just a prop for the Democratic Party to launder money to line their campaign coffers.

One can be Pro Life AND Pro Personal Responsibility as well. Do these children and families (mothers mostly) need help? Yes. But, there is also belief that these mothers (and fathers) should be responsible for their choices as well.

We are shooting our babies.... How is that caring for them?????

When I said a woman cannot have an abortion.... I mean I will financially, physically, and emotionally support the woman and the baby throughout the baby's life until the baby able to take care of his or her own life.

CPUSA... it's all about money?!?

Yes I get it... you don't want to support murder with your tax dollars.... but you claim to be "Pro Life".... Life is more than birth bucko.... life is diapers, and washing diapers... and cleaning the poop off the baby's butt.

CPUSA.... it's all about money?!?

Then why am I paying to murder by lethal injection? I'm "Pro Life".... I protest the death sentence too.

Our County and State budgets include both schooling and jailing!

I didn't ask you to take care of the baby I refused to finance the abortion for. I adopted the baby myself. I could have spent $500 for murder.... but instead I opted for paying 10's of thousands of dollars per year for over 18 years! Let me tell you bucko... being "Pro Life" is a lot more expensive than being "anti-abortion".

If you have a penis.... you should keep it in your pants.

With David and Bathsheba... it was all about the cover up..... but no one talks about that..... David after all was a big deal... Bathsheba was not required to keep her legs shut....

Ouch... a bit dog always barks.... ah ha ha...

It doesn't matter if the man or the woman is at fault... the woman has to go through the abortion....

Come to think of it... would we even be having this discussion if we were talking about shoving a vacuum tube up a penis?

Seriously... what's harder?.... keeping your legs together or keeping your penis in your pants?????

Behave and this discussion is no longer necessary..... right?

Your argument is that the responsibility of controlling the decision to conceive a child is solely on the male because the consequences of these actions is more arduous for the woman? Huh??
One would think that since the repercussions are far more arduous for the woman that responsibility should lie with her or at least be equal. It takes two to make a baby (naturally) so why is it not a shared responsibility in your eyes?

Where does it say I am making life harder on the male? Is it when I tell men they should keep their penis in their pants? I also say a woman should keep her legs together.... I don't blame this all on men..... but I know men would have done something a long time ago if the apparatus was stuck up the penis!

At least David prayed over the demise of their bastard.

Strawman alert!

No one accused you of saying "making life harder on the male" anywhere. The point was that in your post #12 you said "If you have a penis.... you should keep it in your pants." but failed to mention any responsibility of the female in the matter. You only later mentioned "a woman should keep her legs together." after I brought up the glaring lack of this in your post #12. It still appears that you lay most of the responsibility on the man/male in the matter.

I think you will see that I say "we blame the woman for not keeping her legs together".... when I posted my first post.

And.... women have only had a say in the matter in the last hundred years.... men set down the law and men decided what happened to a woman before women demanded to have a say in the matter.

Isn't the whole premise of Roe V Wade... the right for a woman to have say over what happens to her body?

Does a man really get to decide? Shouldn't a woman get a say in this?

If a man wants a baby.... he has to rely on a woman to give him one.... isn't that part of the discussion..... men can't have babies... they can only squirt.... ah ha ha.... men are jealous....

Please quote for me in YOUR post #12 in this thread (which is the post I have referred to quite often in my replies) or any other post you made in this thread BEFORE I asked you about it, where you said this.

I'll wait.....

See... that's what causes all this crap... I'm quoting from my post #4 and you apparently are stuck on #12....

So let me clear this up.... Bathsheba didn't keep her legs shut..... David didn't keep his thing in his pants.... and after repeated attempts at covering it up.... the baby was murdered..... and apparently it was a slow death because David prayed over the baby for days.

As for the death sentence.... well I'm going to put something else out there.... humans have murdered a lot of innocent men over the decades.... say it doesn't happen.... well what about Jesus.... He was hung on a cross until they proved He was dead by putting a sword through His ribs.... and He was not guilty.

Now... the crap in between.... birth and death.... there's the care of the babies.... we should be making sure they are fed and clothed.... instead we are herding into public places and shooting them down.... What about the Christian ethic concerning caring for the poor, the orphans, and the widows?????

How did I accuse anyone of making life hard on anyone.... accept the unwanted children.... if they survive conception.... and birth.... then they are either starved to death or beaten or shot in school.... and if they survive all that.... they live with the "unwanted" stigma for their whole life.

Pro Life is a lot different than Anti- Abortion...... and as for gun control.... there are a lot of westerns about cleaning up the towns of the old west.... and quite frankly morals seem to have gone out the windows lately.... anyone with a gun can dare anyone to take it away from them.... but shooting babies.... that was even outlawed in the old westerns.... some things are just too mean to do.

So get off #12.... go back and read my posts.... try reading a little of "hotcoffee"'s posts.... and you'll see.... I blame everyone for abortions... and I am Pro Life. All you seem to do for the Pro Life cause is point fingers. Stop pointing fingers and do something about it!

At least make an attempt to keep the thing in the pants.... the legs together... and leave the guns to those who would use them for hunting or protection.... an no.... that man in Uvalde did not need to protect himself from 19 fourth graders.....

Get off #12.... and come back to humanity.... Do what Jesus taught.... "Love One Another".......

:coffee:
