Have you ever watched that show? We recently watched the one where they were building their 7000 square foot house. What I want to know is how they get all those children to get along with each other all the time. That is not reality
Yes, I know. I wonder if that's how it really is or just great editing for TV.

How about the REAL question of-if they have 18 kids where the hell are they getting the $$$$ to build a 7,000 sq ft home? I used to work for a home builder and we'd build houses that big for either close to or over a million!?!?!

All that damn square footage and they only put 2 bedrooms in it for the kids. It's like a damn boot camp. I despise that show and that family makes me ill.

The kid's rooms look like dorm rooms. I wonder when/if any will move out. I watched one show where the oldest said that he wasn't even planning on kissing a girl until his wedding day.

I would hate to be that family they spend over 3,000 sometimes when they go food shopping. Did you see they only shop at the thrift store for there clothes. I couldn't picture myself giving birth to 18 kids thats alot of kids is all I have to say. Now shes got 2 in diapers in the house instead of just one. I might have to see if i can last monday night to see how michelle handles 2 little ones crying at the same time as I think Jennifer there youngest is only like 1yr I think if that.

Atleast they seem to be using the $$$ to better the family. The Gosselins use their TV show to get free stuff. Kate also refused to let the show pay Aunt Jodi for being on the show. She told Jodi that the only people that were going to make money off her kids was her and Jon. I agree that Kate needed the tummy tuck but to accept the hair transplant surgery for Jon was pushing it for me.

yah well i feel for aunt jodi i thought all along she was being paid like the gosslins were. I mean she drops the kids off on aunt jodi every show for the day or a few hours.

I cant stand that woman! She is way freaking controlling and so rude and disrespectful to her husband... she should watch a few of her shows and realize what wench she comes off as

Jodi's sister had a blog (which has been deleted at Jodi's request) that said that before the second season started, Kate was approached about having Jodi be paid. She refused. Before the 3rd season, the producers approached Jodi about getting paid since she opens her home up to the crew and such. Kate found out about it and then said the stuff about nobody making money off her kids.
Who knows if she actually said it or not but she doesn't exactly portray herself in a light that would lead one to believe that she didn't. No one expects her to be perfect but she has made snide comments on air towards Jodi such as "she tries.....bless her heart." when it comes to the way she deals with the kids. Personally, I think she handles the kids better because she actually lets them be kids. JMHO.

That was my impression too. They work hard and take care of each other, there are worse ways to live.
