You're a LOON :)
The kid's rooms look like dorm rooms. I wonder when/if any will move out. I watched one show where the oldest said that he wasn't even planning on kissing a girl until his wedding day.

The oldest is married now... he has his own website that tells all about it. It even talks about how he had impure thoughts and confided that in his parents. :barf:

I cant stand that woman! She is way freaking controlling and so rude and disrespectful to her husband... she should watch a few of her shows and realize what wench she comes off as :boo:

I have noticed that Jon is starting to stand up to her alittle. Even Mady has made comments about how "mommy is always telling Daddy what to do." I know that if I talked to my husband like she does hers, I wouldn't be married any longer.

:faint: That family is WAY too close to eachother. There are some things that need to be "personal thoughts". I give them credit. They stick together and seem to rely on themselves but.......

I stopped watching I couldnt stand her any more. They sure do seem to take a lot of handouts from people... from spa treatments, tummytucks, hair plugs, :blahblah: I could raise that many kids if people were giving me half the crap they get!

How about the REAL question of-if they have 18 kids where the hell are they getting the $$$$ to build a 7,000 sq ft home? I used to work for a home builder and we'd build houses that big for either close to or over a million!?!?!
JimBob (if I remember his name correctly) is/was an investment banker or some such. Makes BANK.

I don't think it's fair (to the kids) for parents to have that many kids. The mom isn't even raising the babies...all the other kids do it.

Thank you. There is another thread about this somewhere. I got alot of crap for my views on this. There is NO way that those kids receive the amount of love that they need.

Thats absurd... have you watched their shows? Those parents love thier kids and spend time w/ them individually and together. Sure the older kids help out w/ the younger siblings but so do my children. I see nothing wrong w/ it at all.

They also mentioned on a show I watched a few nights ago that they have several commerical properties that they rent out.

The more I watch the show I think the more normal they are becoming. The first couple of shows I thought they put on a to perfect picture. I certainly think she has a special personality to be able to deal with all the kids and the noise. I know I couldn't. The thing about the Duggers is they were supporting themselves before the show with their real estate investments - debt free I read - but the Gosslings seem to be living the high life now that they have the show. I hope they are smart enough to sock a lot of this money away because people are going to get really bored real fast watching them going on vacations and getting all kinds of stuff. I don't watch it anymore because I can't stand her. So everyone on here who don't like the Duggers just turn it off.

Really... I think they are cute and have nice family values

:killingme No they don't. They are a bunch of hypocrits who claim to be so religious and yet have a TV show where they are making a heck of a lot more money than you and I...so they can support their family. He is in Real Estate and was supposedly some muckty schmuck on Capitol Hill. Anybody with 18 children needs a sign that says :stupid:

Oh forgot to mention....everybody's name starts with a "J"!!!

There's a big difference in a sibling helping out another sibling or two. It's a whole different ballgame when a young girl is being the mother to her siblings. I, for one, would not want to be a "mom" in middle and high school. :yay: That's my opinion.

You know, I hate children and think anyone who has them is crazy and needs a sign that says :stupid:

Do you kind of see how juvenile your comment sounded?

Seriously, though, my family on both sides was freaking huge. Their families before theirs were even larger. At one time in this country it was the total norm to have as many kids as you possibly could and women had them until menopause (and sometimes even then).

The Duggar family may be making money off a tv show. Good for them. We all wish we could right? But what makes them hypocrites? They do work. They do instill their religious values in their children (and it appears to work too). The dad is a lay preacher. They've formed a community outreach ministry. Etc. I don't see hypocrites, I see you and others sounding judgmental and jealous.

I don't begrudge anyone success. I also don't begrudge anyone their family. I also don't begrudge anyone the opportunity to do what they think is best for themselves and their children.

That's because only half of them survived to adulthood. :lmao:
