You know, I hate children and think anyone who has them is crazy and needs a sign that says :stupid:

Do you kind of see how juvenile your comment sounded?

Seriously, though, my family on both sides was freaking huge. Their families before theirs were even larger. At one time in this country it was the total norm to have as many kids as you possibly could and women had them until menopause (and sometimes even then).

The Duggar family may be making money off a tv show. Good for them. We all wish we could right? But what makes them hypocrites? They do work. They do instill their religious values in their children (and it appears to work too). The dad is a lay preacher. They've formed a community outreach ministry. Etc. I don't see hypocrites, I see you and others sounding judgmental and jealous.

I don't begrudge anyone success. I also don't begrudge anyone their family. I also don't begrudge anyone the opportunity to do what they think is best for themselves and their children.

 I agree.

Really? You think you know me all that well? You think I hate kids? You are so highly mistaken missy. I suppose you think that a woman that has a bunch of kids that she can't support and is on Welfare is acceptable too? Times have changed in having large families. I'm all for people who have large families that can actually afford a large family. I'm more concerned with the idea of having large families and then relying on others to support you. You really don't know very much do you?

Just why are they hypocrites? Because they have a tv show and make some money off it? Why is that hypocritical or ungodly or whatever? Do you think they get some kind of government assistance? They actually live debt free. Just where do you get the idea migtig supports welfare queens from her post? You come off as a total idiot.

"Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar married July 21st, 1984. At that time, they chose to use the birth control pill. They thought, “We don’t want children right now. We can’t afford them. We want children in our timing, when we’re ready.” Four years later they decided to have their first child. Then, Michelle went back on the pill, but she conceived and had a miscarriage. At that point they talked with a Christian medical doctor and read the fine print in the contraceptives package. They found that while taking the pill you can get pregnant and then miscarry. They were grieved! They were Christians! They were pro-life! They realized that their selfish actions had taken the life of their child. They prayed and asked God to forgive them, and to teach them to love children like He loves children."

The above was taken from their website....it just hit a nerve with me for some reason.....

Welfare queens? I never said anything about Welfare queens, but then again perhaps you need to go back to school and learn to read for a living. You obviously are one of those that are just evil, don't think of the children but your own selfishness.

Merry Christmas!!!

That is their belief. I don't believe that. That is a guilt trip played upon people.
