I mentioned either last year or the year before, we weigh the points and positions we pick IF we get it right, for example;

1st = 5 points
2nd = 4 points
3rd = 3 points
4th = 2 points
5th = 1 point

If your driver makes it in the top 5 but not in the slot you picked, you only get 1 point (like we currently do)

I like this system ! Record keeping will be a B##### & Time consuming . However it does present a challenge for everyone to pick exact driver for 1st thru 5th place & opens up the scoring potiental .

Something needs to be done to mix it up. Unfortunately, we don't have enough people for eliminations. I won't do points resets on principle.

I really do like the idea of putting caps on how many times you can pick drivers or saying you can't pick a driver again if you win for them. I liked it the first time we tried it and I still like the idea. It can be tweaked. You can't pick a driver for six weeks if you win with them. Or you can only pick a driver six times to win. Or something. This sucks right now.

Status quo might as well file picks at Daytona and have those be the picks for the entire season.

This is a good idea . Only fall back , is record keeping . Going back to previous posts is a pain in A$$ searching for picks for last race , I can only imagine 6 races or 6 times a WINNER was picked . Who has the time and wants the agony ?

Several weeks back , I'm sitting on a double digit lead & planning my "Award Banquet " & saying i can finally talk "$hit to DipStick , being a fellow " NASCAR Champion". Calvcopf changed to Harvick ! No issue , I still have Harvick in my picks so strategy same . Besides Happy not going to WIN twice in a row & nobody going to HAND him a WIN by running out of gas AGAIN unless its a idiot

That's great. Without NASCAR, Fox Sports 1 wouldn't exist today. Nice way to trash the sport.
