after all the kidding it hit me that it's rather sad.
First, this was a sting, the cops put the bait out ther and these fools took it.
We only know what the police press release wants us to know, we don't know the exact words that were exchanged.
Are these hard core drug dealers or merely dopes (pardon the pun) who were convinced that it wasn't a sting because the person on the other end of the line was asking for drugs in exchange?
What's sad, when you think about it, is that some of these men had (maybe still do) decent jobs, an implication that there is some form of intelligence.
But they are so desperate for something that they would throw caution to the wind - as many have mentioned, where have they been? Have they not seen these stings on TV? It's certainly not the first time it's been done here - witness that some were caught before.

Two months ago St. Mary's College of Maryland announces that Roger Stanton, has been reappointed with tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of Psychology. Stanton joined the St. Mary's faculty in 2007.
One is an EX Sheriff's Deputy from St. Mary's
One was arrested for Child Porn & also used to be a youth basketball coach.
One has a previous charge for human trafficking
We will have an update after the courthouse opens on Monday.
