Forget it! Why can't we have a drugstore that is open 24 hours? Or even WalMart. Is that too much to ask?

It would be nice if Walmart was open 24/7. At least we have WaWa now for somethings late at night.

I called Kmart at 12:05 and a woman answered "Good morning, thank you for calling Kmart". I said "What time do you close?"...she said we closed at 10:00. :tantrum

I thought one of the grocery stores here is open 24 hrs. We are always sending a housekeeping staffer there at 2:00 to get us food! :lmao:

Giant and Safeway are both closed. Maybe the people running these stores should have a screaming one month old that needs gas medicine in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, there aren't many anywhere...and haven't been for years. Even when my kids were little (20 years ago), we had to drive forever to get meds when they were sick in the middle of the night.

What kind of gas meds did you need?

I wouldn't be surprised if Wawa had it.

Infant gas drops (Mylicon).

California (MD) used to be like that when I first moved here. 235 was a 2 lane road and what few traffic lights there were started blinking at 8 or 9 pm. Nothing was open at night.

That's not a prescription is it? Sorry he's being so fussy. I thought you already had that stuff on hand.

No, this stuff is over the counter. I just got some while at Giant.

Nope. It's right next to the adult strength in Walmart.

Speedy, is your little one super gassy? That stuff isn't supposed to be used everytime (or by itself, still need to thoroughly burp) and with most little ones, burping is enough. However, if s/he has gas problems, have you tried switching over to the formula for that? It's gentle-ease by infamil. I forget what parent's choice calls it. BTW, it's a hell of a lot cheaper at walmart than the grocery store.

For future reference, the CVS in La Plata is open 24 hours. I know it's a bit of a drive, but it's better than nothing, and the baby may fall asleep on the way there and back if you take him with you. Also, these are supposed to help reduce gas, if you want to go the bottle route. J had horrible "colic" (read: gas) when he was a little bit, I know how frustrating it can be. It'll pass. :huggy:

He's having some sort of tummy trouble, that's for sure. My mom thinks I'm just feeding him too much. The directions on the box of Mylicon say it's safe to use at every feeding.

Last night I caved and gave him the medication that the doctor prescribed to him for reflux. He slept for 5 straight hours!! We've got our fingers crossed that this helps his problem, although I'm not getting my hopes up just yet. I just wish he could tell us what is wrong. :bawl:
