0958: Special forces enter school
1005: Russian troops said to be nearly in full control
That's right!
He's a lib, remember? They make it up as they go along.Christy said:Don't know where you're digging up your info, but that's not at all what has happened.
HiHo said:Looks like the Russians stormed the school. Whether by choice remains unclear. Either way it was the right move. I think the civilized world needs to accept the fact that, once you are taken hostage, you are dead. That makes dealing with these terrorists that much easier. And they will stop if they see no upside. Negotiation, caving in to demands, being like Spain, are all losing propositions.
jlabsher said:Yeah, I make it all up of course.

jlabsher said:I love this place, I am called commie scum and my karma drops 200 points because I cheer the russkies for kicking terrorist butt, and post links to foreign news sources, who probably have better coverage than the US media. What, I didn't include a link to foxxxnews and blame Kerry for the whole thing? I give up on you yahoos!
Christy said:Hmmm, I read the news links you provided, they said the same as what I was hearing on the news at home. It was YOU who spun it. Oh what a shock.
jlabsher said:Well, I don't have the luxury of sitting at home and watching TV, from work this internetweb thing is just as fast to go to bbc as cnn. I don't think I was the first one to spin it either, check Kyle's post. My post was commending the russkies for gaining control of the school within 7 minutes from first entry.
Christy said:Stop being delusional. I would imagine you got slammed for being a retard. You spouted off that it was some brilliant rescue that went down.
It's all ended very badly. I don't think the "russkies" could have done anything to prevent the outcome, and Putin would/will get slammed regardless of the outcome.
What spin? :shrug:jlabsher said:Well, I don't have the luxury of sitting at home and watching TV, from work this internetweb thing is just as fast to go to bbc as cnn. jlabsher said:Russian special forces don't have the reputation for making clean rescues, but they kick butt when it is necessary. As far as brilliant rescue, it probably was as good as can be expected since the place is surrounded by mines & tripwires. Read that some of the hostage takers were beaten by the parents, some ran into a building that was then shelled by tanks. I would venture to say that hostilities in Chechnya will increase and not be pretty.
Sounds like they brought in Janet Reno...:shrug:jlabsher said:Russian special forces don't have the reputation for making clean rescues, but they kick butt when it is necessary.
