4 Year old 3 lb Neutered Male Yorkie Available for adoption

Adopt me please !
A family gave up one of their dogs due to lack of time to spend with them all. The Yorkie has been crated for long periods of time. He is housebroken, gets along with other dogs, and has not been around cats but would likely be fine with cats (they would certainly outweigh him lol).

This sweet little boy would be happy to have a family he could spend time with regularly.

Update - I was just informed that someone (known to the vet office) may be picking up the Yorkie tomorrow, so we have to wait until tomorrow to see if he will be coming to us for sure. So for anyone interested, we should know by tomorrow if we will have him.

Let me know if you get it, we may be interested. The wife loves yorkies.

At the moment the talk is of the dog possibly going to a rescue that specializes in unique placements such as a 3 lb dog. I am hearing that a dog this tiny should not be around small children, big dogs, or high energy dogs, or anti-dog kitties. Apparently it doesn't take much to injure a dog this small. So I may end up merely being the transportation for the dog to go from the vet to the specialty rescue person. Right now we have approximately 7 families interested in this little guy. If only we could get the kitties placed so easily .

I just had a thought, maybe Shelly can dye the hair on the kitties awaiting adoption to make them LOOK like small adorable dogs, and that way they'd all get adopted quickly .

Update - I ended up picking up this little guy that Friday. Hands down the sweetest and most calm little dog ever! I worked with another rescuer who steered me to a family that had put in a request for a Yorkie. This adorable little guy was placed in a home this past weekend. I have to say - great dog - no vices, housebroken, sweet, adorable, just the perfect dog! The home feels grateful to have him, and he has a doggie brother he likes too - how great is that? Sometimes everything just comes together so perfect! The family was perfect for him, and he for them. I am thrilled that this little guy is never going to be unwanted again.

Great Job Ark. I wish I could foster a dog but unfortunately, Capt. Morgan, the brat, doesn't like to share her space with other dogs or cats. She doesn't play well with other animals, people she loves, not so much animals. Again, wonderful job on your part.
