For real...It took 20 minutes from the old lowes building until I got to the rt 4 intersection.

I don't find that uncommon on a thurs before the big cws. :shrug:

It was backed up at 3:45 when I came through and still at about 6:00 when I had to run over to a friend's house for traffic heading over the bridge.

Did anybody call a radio station and report the traffic? I mean it's not like the stations down here have a chopper. They need to rely on listeners and the internet. That could be why. Just a thought.

Wellllll, I guess we could call, but at that time, there is no-one "live" to broadcast the info.

You're prolly right... I left at 4 and stopped at CVS (across from the WaWa) there was NO traffic, I came out from the store and all hell had broke loose.... But like you say no sirens or anything... Just chalkin it up to a mass cws exodus...

I heard on the radio yesterday afternoon that there was a small accident on the bridge :shrug: maybe that was what all the back up was from :shrug:

I figured it was brick traffic, too. It took 25 minutes for me to travel from Gate 3 to San Souci.

You have a good point there.


I wonder if anyone's ever thought to put a webcam up on the traffic signals, or in strategic locations along Rt 235 and 5.

That might make an interesting link to check out before going for a drive along one of those corridors. That way people going from North To South or versa-vica could compare and see which would make for a less stressful trip.


I would make SOMD Traffic Yahoo! Widget if anyone ever put a cam up.
(So you could see the traffic on your desktop)
