Got this Smartykat SuperScratcher at Walmart today for around $5. It came with catnip. The cats love it. All 3 of them. I think I need to get a few more because they're starting to fight over it.

I love these things!!! We've got them all over the house! They do sometimes leave bits of cardboard, but it is usually right around the scratcher and easily vacuumed up.

My cats love these too! Yeah, I thought it was ridiculous to pay $5 for them or more for the bigger ones. I also find it funny how we spend so much money on toys when they are just as happy playing in paper bags, cardboard boxes, and string.
