A comprehensive argument against Barack Obama

What follows is by no means comprehensive, but it does shed some much-needed light on a number of Obama’s positions, statements, and associations about which he has been less than honest. We’ve attempted to boil each issue down to a succinct explanation with an accompanying, brief video clip—often starring Barack Obama in his own words. Before pulling the lever for someone who hopes voters will ignore his paper-thin resume, unsavory associations, and hard-left voting record, each citizen has a duty to do his due diligence.

If recent polls are to believed, freshman Senator Barack Obama has a better than average chance of becoming America’s 44th President, the Commander-in-Chief of the planet’s most powerful military, and the proverbial leader of the free world. It’s worth mentioning that just four years ago as President Bush and Senator John Kerry were vying for the White House, Obama was still a part-time State Senator representing a liberal district in Chicago. Before that he was an attorney and, famously, a community organizer. In 2008, Obama has positioned himself as a post-partisan, thoughtful moderate with the superior judgment required to lead the country. These are lofty promises from a man with precious little executive experience, and a Senate career that lasted exactly 143 legislative days before he launched yet another campaign for higher office. No one can deny his ambition. In fact, if Obama wins on November 4th—and serves one full term in the Oval Office—the Presidency of the United States would be the longest consecutively held full-time job he has ever held without seeking another.

The article covers abortion, taxes, radical associations, disdain for the heartland, the race card, lack of accomplishment, and foreign policy judgment in Obama's own words. Quite a few youtube videos.

I noticed that too! :killingme

And the list is so long it would take six posts to to get the information out. So I just summarized the important parts.

I think there is no complete list of arguments against Obama. To paraphrase an astronomer, 'There are billions and billions of arguments.'

A comprehensive argument against Obama...

He was a socialist before the race began.

He is a socialist now.

He will likely be a socialist after the race.

Lots of Americans like socialism.

The current administration and the current nominee have made it difficult to dismiss socialism out of hand.

Larry, your right. The liberals (dems and repubs) have been forcing "entitlements" down the throats of the electorate for generations. The protestant work ethic is no longer. We see it in the younger workers who want it now and are un reliable help, rude etc. Many employers are seeking out seniors because they have a much better work ethic.

I have known people getting unemployment not becuase they need it but because "I paid in to it" so they have no shame in taking it. Even though they could easily find a job.

I wont even go into the money that "poor" people get that I see in St. Mary's county, especially in LP. Every(not really) kid gets diagnosed with a "learning disability" and gets a benefit to the school or the parents are getting SSI for the childs "disability". We are not talking about kids with phyiscal problems mind you. Then the parent (single parent) get section 8 "affordable housing" (be afraid of that term). Then the food stamps. Then the boyfriend "lives" in the place, not paying rent. So we really subsadize him also. And of course some of these people wll actually work part time for some exta money but they have no incentive to actually keep a job. They can bounce from one job to another.

Welcome to Obamaland...lets just give people more..

Thank God, at almost 40 with no college education, married with 4 kids on a single income. I have never been unemployed or collected from the state. Is it a struggle? absolutely.

The last thing I want is the Messiah/Osama pandering to me that he is going to "give me" more money.

Let's face it most of the younger/my generation think it's owed to them. Hard work means nothing.

So now you're for socialism? :cds:

Man you're one hard person to keep up with. :sarcasm:

Mr. Paul is not going to be happy about this.

Perhaps it wont be but two into his term that he will deem himself as King or Dictator. :sarcasm:

People see BO as 2 things:

1) Not Bush

2) A Washington outsider

Isn't Mccain/Palin's fix for situations like this is to have at least two maybe three jobs?

Something wrong with having 2 or 3 jobs? Something wrong with earning your own?

IT'S NOT THE GOVERNMENT'S JOB TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WHAT 1 OR 2 JOBS WONT PROVIDE!

Nonno is a user. He is a taker. Whatever he can grab he can. IF if comes from Unkkkle Sam just keep taking. It's his right and he want's everyone else to participate in the taking....

That becomes the philosophical diffrence. NONNO/OBAMA are marxists. I am not afraid to use the word. That's what Bill Ayers is and that is who Obama will attempt to emulate.

That, my friends on the forum, is what goes on at today's universities and colleges. Choose wisely where we send our kids to school......Bill Ayers may be the teacher. :coffee:

Banks looking at Polls...

are putting together forecasts of continued financial crisis through 2009. They realize Obama is generally helpless and a rookie and thus money they were supposed to use to aid liquidity of credit: they are going to stash.

Go back to 1931 & the RFC, but only 5% know what the heck I am talking about.

EXACTLY.. YOU work harder so we can spread your wealth around and give it to someone sitting at home watching Oprah and The View. They had to get a New York Strip instead of a DelMOnico, so get another job so they can take more of your money, it's NOT FAIR!!

Talk about afraid..

Biden says if we elect Obama we WILL be attacked in the first six months by Al Queada and/ or others of our enemies.

he didn't say that, he said we would be tested. Like so many of the presidents before him, Obama would probably have to deal with forgien leaders seeing what they get away with, whether that be russia, korea, or some other place.
