A-holes burning leaves

I burned a big pile of my leaves / branches last weekend in the rain/drizzle. Have another big pile ready to burn. Another one will be built once I clean up the last of the debris from getting the trees cut. I try to do my burning when people do not have windows open, or the immediate neighbors are not home.

I like the smell of burning leaves but unfortunately I have severe allergies and my breathing pretty much stops when the smoke starts spreading. My neighbor was outside burning yesterday and it brought my enjoyment of a perfect day to a screeching halt. :coughgaspcoughgasp:

I like the smell too. Another downfall though is to those that have severe allergy to poison ivy, oak and sumac being burned. Inhaling or skin contact of the smoke cause severe reactions. My throat closes and I swell just like someone with a shell fish or penicillin allergy. Plus the rash.

After this past winter, I think we could all use a little global warming.
