What are you talking about? Nobody said that.
Not a chance.Sounds like he has been assimilated by MR
I can't say I know this is the case for all, but of the few women that I know had an abortion 1. Husband did not want another kid 2. Condom broke and she got pregnant and 3. Birth Control did not work because she was taking antibiotics.Women DO use abortion as birth control. Do ALL women do it? No. But the main reason for abortion is convenience, not because they were raped or for health reasons.
Are you just in a bitchy mood this morning and wanting to take it out on someone?
Ahhh, A good Christian I see. Its ironic that a good Christian like yourself is capable of shaming others. How Christian of you.

Any sane woman would not have an abortion as a regular method of birth control because it is an invasive procedure that has to be recovered from, 2. On my list almost died afterward because she did not want to miss marching band practice (college band) because if you miss practice you don't get to be in the halftime show that week. She collapsed on the field and started bleeding.

The following is not a criticism; rather, an observation.I can't say I know this is the case for all, but of the few women that I know had an abortion 1. Husband did not want another kid 2. Condom broke and she got pregnant and 3. Birth Control did not work because she was taking antibiotics.
Well, I would take issue with that. In the Soviet Union (then)/in Russia (now) the number one form of birth control was/is abortion (I won't/can't speak to other areas, but I can about the USSR/RF because that was my career's area of focus).Any sane woman would not have an abortion as a regular method of birth control....
Please quote where I "shamed" anyone. SMH
My point was two of them were an "emergency backup measure", but really what isn't a convenience other than having food, water, and staying alive.I'm not sure where you're going with this post. Are you saying that the examples you gave were abortions of necessity and not convenience?
Keep in mind that I am NOT anti-abortion. I just prefer to call things what they are and not pretend they're something else.
The following is not a criticism; rather, an observation.
It's interesting how - in any heated "it's my body, it's my choice" discussion of abortion - the one party to the matter who is never "thought of" is the product of the "mistake." It's almost as if we're arguing about the participants in a drive-by shooting and paying no mind to the innocents shot in the crossfire.

The third was a woman who felt she had no choice and was forced to do it by her husband, according to her he told her that he would leave her if she didn't.
I would counter that we can see great similarities in observing social trends there/then and here/now. Today's "push to socialism/communism" by growing numbers of the "elite" (used here, not as a pejorative but as a descriptor of a certain part of the demographic), certain portions of the middle class (urban/suburban), and young folks is remarkably similar to the social trends/dynamics of Imperial Russia in the 25 years run-up to the Russian Revolution.I don't place a whole lot of importance on what Russians do....
It's funny that ^^^this^^^ is very much the same as what Russians would say about Americans. In the numerous examples they cited they weren't wrong....you ever see some of the stupid crap they do? There are thousands of youtube videos of Russians doing things that people elsewhere are too smart to do.
He was, biggest condescending, self important douche I ever met and that includes some of the people on here. They were my ex's parents. Her husband sounds abusive and she should probably dump him anyway, aside from terminating her pregnancy. I can't even imagine having a child exposed to a guy like that.
I really don't care if women abort their pregnancies every day and twice on Sunday, for whatever reason they have. I believe the world is better off when we limit our unwanted children. But it IS a termination of convenience and I'm not sure how or why anyone would take issue with that.

Yeah, we noticed they don't think slapstick is funny - or anything where someone gets hurt and it's intended to be funny.
We laugh when someone gets hit in the groin or makes a face plant - but they don't.
