It doesn't, now does it? I'm sure it was a purely innocent comment on their part.K_Jo said:That doesn't sound like a compliment.

I was in Frederick a couple of weekends ago, but I didn't get anywhere NEAR the woods. The Frederick area is beautiful. How pretty that must have been to see that!AC/DC said:I was in Frederick this weekend at a buds place and took a nice walk through the woods and down by the creek. We spooked up 8 deer with a couple fawns in tow…..
Deer, Medleys Neck Rd. ? No way.jazz lady said:I was driving on Medleys Neck Road (244) in a heavily wooded area about dusk and crested a hill. It was literally a river of deer. There must have been close to 40 of them crossing as a herd.

jazz lady said:I saw the most awesome sight about a month ago. I was driving on Medleys Neck Road (244) in a heavily wooded area about dusk and crested a hill. My headlights made out something completely blocking the road ahead, which I assumed was probably a tree that had fallen. Imagine my surprise when it moved. It was literally a river of deer. There must have been close to 40 of them crossing as a herd. I was awestruck. Fortunately, I had plenty of time to slow down and watch them. It was absolutely unbelievable and something I will NEVER forget.
Unfortunately that is true. That is why I get my dogs and cats immunized against Lyme disease, plus use Frontline.kwillia said::deer:=:deerticks:=:lymes:

I finally uploaded the pictures I have taken on my walks and thought I would share some of my favorites:jazz lady said:I came home from work and took my dog for a walk in the woods. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
I took time to notice the beautiful wild violets blooming in all their miniature glory in vibrant shades of white, pink, and deep purple. The wild blueberry bushes are dripping with white flowers that in a few months will be the most incredible tasting berries.
Tiny frogs abound everywhere and skitter frantically out of the way. Birds were chirping and fluttering in every direction as they frantically gather nesting materials. Deer tracks are everywhere, silent testimony to their nocturnal wanderings. My dog goes crazy with the overload of scents and sights.
I just smile at the beauty of it all. Ahhh...
