Let me see if I remember. One was a broadband infrastructure fee increase of about $5, one was a fee increase for receiving local broadcast channels of about $5.30, and I don't remember what the third was but it was smaller.

The moment satellite Internet or fiber becomes available, the cable company can go **** itself.

Is it active around here? I wasn’t aware that this area is covered yet.
Not yet for the general public. The satellites are being still deployed for more coverage. When I signed up for service, it was anytime between July and the end of the year, first come, first served. I have read that a couple of beta testers were getting well in excess of 300Mb/s.

What I did notice was that it went down for a while, because sports channels were re-imbursing customers for NOT broadcasting sports channels last year.

So I didn't get that credit this month.

My package itself went up by five bucks.
