Yep, we looked at a house back there once. The pigs old babysitter was off of Friendship School Road and her addy was Mechanicsville. She said she was right on the line w/Leonardtown and Hollywood; where they all came together.

Actually, I didn't call you anything. Just said the 235 doesn't go to Mechanicsville. Guess you just assumed you're stupid

Are you sure it wasn't just the mailing address? When I lived in Town Creek I had a Lexington Park mailing address but I was actually located in California. And BTW, the California Post Office was closer to me than the Lexington Park Post Office.

Mechanicsville is HUGE if you look at a map of St. Mary's.

235 begins when route 5 takes a sharp turn to the right at the Wawa the is located at the corner formerly known as Hill's Halfway House. That is Mechanicsville.... why is there such confusion...

Map shows the little circle for Mechanicsville at the intersection of Mechanicsville Rd and Old Rt.5, couple of miles north of the 5/235 split.

Gimme a break, I've only lived here 20 years :bawl:

Oraville and Oakville do not have a post office so they are considered Mechanicsville 20659 for all mailing purposes! :yay:
