Accident in waldorf, teen dead??

How sad. Prayers go out to the family of the deceased. A very sad day for Thomas Stone.

Were the other teens in the car related? Or did she have her license long enough for that rule not to apply?

Not really of Brandywine though. I don't know why that bugs me, but it does.

That is what the new reporter quoted. Perhaps it is because of the area, that Brandywine is the closest location people out of the area might know?

Either way, it is a very sad day, once more, for all of us.

News reports tend to chose a "ballpark" well known area name rather than use an area name that the majority of people wouldn't recognize.

No. As I posted earlier, several in that area have a Brandywine address even though they're in Charles County. So I guess they're going by the girls address.

Check your karma.

:shocking:

Wow...that's in walking distance. :shocking:

The Brandywine address ALWAYS bothers me too - no one understands, its not really Brandywine, and I even got red krama and a ":liar:" smiliey last time I posted that my technical address is Brandywine. Address says Brandywine but its really not. Its more Hughsville or Waldorf than anything. I hate when folks ask where I live and I give the address as Brandywine, I'm really no where near Brandywine and the neighbors have a Waldorf or Hughsville adress. I'm really in Hughesville is what I tell folks. So I do know your frustration too on that issue. It's NOT Brandywine, not sure why its never been fixed though.

I wonder who had the idea of giving those folks a Brandywine address. S

Has everyone lost their effing minds?

Someone's dear child has died. Who gives a crap about karma or what friggin' city it was. My God.

From channel 4's story "Authorities said a prelimenary investigation shows that speed and driver error were factors in the crash.".

I remember the way I drove as a teen. It's a miracle I'm still here to talk about it. I'm sure this young lady has learned the hard way.

We know someone's child has died. I initially pointed out the city location because some people could have been wondering where in the world Covington Road is in "Waldorf". Geesh.

Anyway....

Thank you! Amazing that someone is more concerned with getting a street right than saying a prayer for the family and everyone involved.

May peace be with the families during this time. :huggy:

I'm bumping this because I just got word on the driver's condition. I won't go into all her injuries, but she's in pretty bad shape.

Please say a prayer for her and her family.
