Same here. I saw a guy laying in the middle of the road and a truck over the side.

a guy was hit while crossing the road.

No, a guy in the middle North bound lane cut across his lanes and across the South bound lane. He got out of his truck and was on the ground. When the first rescue workers arrived he got up and ran away from them yelling for help when he finally stopped on the 235 South bound lane where they finally were able to help him.

There was another accident about an hour ago in front of the 7-11 by Captain Pat's and Ledo's. Looks like some woman wasn't paying attention and rear-ended this yellow Jeep Liberty with her Chevy Suburban.

Eagle one from the park police landed in a field on Rt. 5 just South of Great Mills Rd. for 2 people in another car accident not long after Trooper 7 took off.

I was wondering if that truck with the ladders had come from the Northbound lanes. It left a pile of dirt and debris when it hit the median curb. Hurricanedans people were treating someone in the middle of the Southbound lane and the only vehicle that looked like it was involved was the truck. Very strange. It will be interesting to see what really happened. The dust from the accident was still in the air when the rescue trucks got there. Good response.

Must have had those ladders tied down pretty good. The truck took out a sign when it crossed over and into the South bound lane.

Kept my bike in the garage today..

Must not have been cold and rainy enough for you. Or you didn't get far enough on that honey do list
Light colored clothing would have been good today. I was DYING of heat. Heard you all had a good ride after we split up.

You need to buy some mesh riding gear... it's NICE!!
Wear shorts and a T underneath (or nothing) and it feels like you are wearing shorts and a T, and not anti abrasion, armored riding gear. You can slde down that road 100 feet and come away without a scratch (as long as you don't hit anything mid-slide) and still have all the comfort of summer clothes while riding. Nice mesh gear, summer riding gloves, well vented helmet.. safe AND comfotable.

Got to go for a short ride today, after all the crazies put their bikes away. Went out shopping for a powered staple gun, staples.. and dinner (Sheetz Subs). Got about 125 miles in on a "non-riding" week-end, not bad.

We did discuss how flat black might not be the best choice for helmet color if your intention is to try and stay cool.

I also own a shiny full face, but didn't wear that today cause it was so hot. I think my temp went up 10 degrees when I put the helmet on when we left. I turned the ac on in the house when I got home and it took me a while to cool down.

Trying to look cool has its drawbacks.

After the accident today on 235, I went to take some DVD's back and figured I'd to the back way thru Town Creek, which, it turned out, is where they diverted all the traffic. It took me 30 minutes to get from North Town Creek Drive to the intersection of 235 and Maple. What a friggin mess. Saw several Harleys just stopped on the side of Town Creek Drive and some of the side streets just waiting it out.

You should have been nice and brought them water and/or cold beer and then shown them your "biker friendly" sticker
