I have said in this thread that this behavior was not helpful to the liberal cause and that it was classless. I still don't think that it constitutes a real, true threat to President Bush's safety.

But, in all honesty, what do you want to Secret Service to do? Guess when something is real and when it is just a joke? Should we really take that risk with the President of the United States?

Kids come to school and talk about killing someone who picked on them... everyone thinks they're just kidding....

No. One of the reasons schools have instituted "zero tolerance" policies is because they don't want to have to use any judgement or common sense. Therefore, some first grader wielding a chicken nugget is considered just as dangerous as a high school kid who plants a pipe bomb in the school bathroom.

And what's funny is that these SAME PEOPLE who are all for "zero tolerance" in the schools are saying "what's the big deal" about a very clear threat against our President.

If some kinnygardner pulled a stunt like this, they would lock that child up and throw away the key. Since it's Scare America, the libbies are busting on the SS for doing their job.

Hello? So are liberals. Ask your random Democrat on the street what a filibuster is. Take a picture of their blank stare. Then ask them what they think of the Republicans trying to shut down the filibuster and watch them start spewing the party line.
