Funny as in :lmao: or funny as in  ? No Mikey didn't pay that much, that's why I'm still looking!

If you don't mind taking a drive, you can find them for cheaper in surrounding states. This is what we did for Neo, our pug. I did a ton of research on the breed and luckily found a lady in PA with a litter. She had both mom and dad, as they were her pets, and were both were AKC registered. Around here, people wanted anywhere from $600 to $1000 for a male pug. We got him for $350. I felt better knowing she didn't mind me coming to her house, playing with all of the pups, mom and dad included, and seeing all of them given a lot of love and the proper attention. Even though the price was cheaper, this did not take away from the care and well being of the pups.

Just wanted to share....

Thanks. If I were breeding puppies, I would interview the prospective buyer to make sure they were giving the puppy the home they deserve and I would rather sell cheaper to someone who actually can take care of and love the puppy than someone who might not. I know someone that has a Pom and keeps it as an outside dog and I think that's just horrible! Mine go outside to enjoy the weather or do their business, but I could never leave them outside 24/7! I even feed the stray cats around here and leave the garage door open a crack so they have shelter! I can understand breeding for money, but I couldn't sleep at nite if I thought the puppies weren't in a loving home. I guess that's why I'm buying and not breeding.

And I forgot to add this.....she said had we not picked Neo, he would have stayed with them because he was her husband's fav of the litter. So he was spoiled rotten before we even got him and the other pups were spoiled as well:lol: When we took Neo to his first puppy visit, the vet was shocked to see he didn't have any type of worms, although they did treat him for the "just in case".
