Thought I was ready to head north, asked my uncle to take me up Great Mills Road
OK, so I'm not ready to go north of the Blimpie yet!
But, I did wave at somebody today!
There is a Blimpie on Great Mills?
no, the Blimpie down by Hermanville
I think Tuesday and Wednesday will be cool enough for me to come get you.....Desertrat said now I'd know what he felt like when he first took me out. I'm up for it, if it's cool enough. Bet Aps would go with us. He tutors the new riders, from what I have heard.
Tuesday or Wednesday is good for me, any time after 5 (get some of those cars off the road!).
We went for an hour this evening, that was MORE than enough time for me ... My right elbow was stiff?!?!?!
And I can use all the tutoring I can get!
Aps or Pete would be better at tutoring than me. I'll just ride with you, though the more riding you do, the more comfortable you become. Pete can do an AWESOME figure 8 on his huge bike. I'll see if 1bdz wants to join us.
Call me when you want to go....if I can manage it, I will go
How about Tues or Weds and we take off from here about 5:00, meet her and get dinner?
I can meet you at Spring Ridge Middle either night. I can get some slow-ride-tight-turn-round-the-cones practice in!
I haven't been around here lately....so, fill me in a little
Have you taken the Motorcycle class?
No, I haven't taken the class...just can't make myself commit to something scheduled for 3 months from now...got no clue what might be happening then!
I got my permit last fall, took the riding test in November, more to see what it entailed than to pass ... failed (fast stop, slow ride, tight corner turn)...
...permit expired (it really is too cold to ride Dec to March!), so I retook the written test in April. Got another permit, and have every intention of passing the riding test in a few weeks.
Wednesday works for meTuesday or Wednesday is good for me, any time after 5
You really, really should take the MSF course. It's great fun and you learn a lot.
and don't look down 'cause that's where you'll go
Aps would go with us. He tutors the new riders, from what I have heard.
I was following a new rider a couple of weeks ago. She pulled out onto Great Mills Rd., got in the left lane doing 30 mph. My "tutoring" consisted of screaming "SPEED UP!! GO FASTER!!"
I even had on my emergency flashers

How's Thursday look for you guys if Aps can't do it Tuesday?
Ya'll have to go without me Thursday
