Here's a thought ---
A gang busts in your home, destroys your home and butchers your wife and two of your children.
If you were to attack back - would you be satisfied if - three people were killed in exchange for the death of your loved ones?
Of course not - and this is why the Jews keep repeating - "Never again".
Because what YOU would want, is what THEY want - to GET THOSE RESPONSIBLE and make sure they can NEVER do it again.
You would pursue the m-fer's until the ones in charge were dealt with, And you would make sure it couldn't happen to others.
No "cease fire". Not until it is over.

The pattern with Israel has been - and I agree with it - that they reach a point where they say "enough" and they go in full bore - and whomever THAT enemy of the week - well, rather - decade - is - they wipe 'em out. You don't hear from them again.
They've been more than patient with Hamas, who have been snipping at them continually since they gained control of Gaza long ago.
