What's amusing is the media's zeal for same-sex marriage. If Lily were marrying a man it would have never gotten one pixel or one speck of ink.
She has a great verbal bitch slap moment caught on tape when she was filming I Heart Huckabees. I just looked for it and it's been scrubbed, but she was stupendous in her ability to make the director lose his mind and start busting #### up.

Call me a bumpkin all you like but my favorite performance of hers was in the movie "9-5". She was also in another really good movie in the 80"s, I think with Steve Martin but I will have to research a bit more.

I found it the movie was "All of Me" with Steve Martin in 1984.

I knew about her long ago too. I had not heard that they had gotten married. Surprised? No.
Damn, you have to admit for 74 and 78 they look pretty good. Also that 42 years together under any circumstances in Hollywood is almost unheard of. Success with the odds stacked against them like that proves they were meant to be.
