Ambien?

I'll admit, she was pretty entertaining last night when she took it (out of respect I deleted the thread) but after what she said today, that's scary.

I have taken it a couple of times, and it didn't work, I still smoke. :ohwell:

I don't remember any particular dreams, other than they were pretty cool. It's been awhile.

Wellbutrin is supposed to help with quitting smoking too.

I am still a depressed nervouse beeotch that smokes a half a pack a day. :ohwell:

You is my friend. :huggy: It was so scary... Like... the walls were freaking squishy and my computer was spongy (sp?) or something. :jameo: Not to mention there were random people and animals in my living room.

I think the walls were moving and the computer was squishy.

A relative's been trying to get off of ambien. She's tried Zyquil and it's worked a couple of nights, it's not consistent for her though.

My doctor gave me a bottle of 30 with the warning that they were habit forming, no other warnings. I only take them when I've had several nights in a row with little sleep. No problems like anyone has described, just some nice restful deep sleep. I do need to have a cup of coffee in the morning after I've had one to knock out the cobwebs. I've only taken 3, but after these stories, I'm worried about taking more!

I've hallucinated with plain over the counter sleeping pills. I couldn't imagine taking prescription strength. I don't like that feeling! I have found that melatonin helps if I really have trouble sleeping.

^That and it's natural.

A few years ago, my doctor prescribed it for me, I didn't even get it filled, I wen to the drug store and bought Melatonin, and only take it when I know I'll have trouble sleeping.

The melatonin gives you very vivid dreams, I guess because you sleep so deep.

I've used Amiben & got the same hallucinations, but not sure if I ever went anywhere...?

I've switched to Melatonin; it DOES give me very vivid dreams, but I sleep well. The hardest part for me, is I MUST take it early in the evening to avoid feeling groggy & having a difficult time waking up in the morning (still do sometimes).

Regular EXERCISE is the best sleep aid I've ever used.

There is something new out, I thought the Melatonin was enough, but now it's a combination of Melatonin, tryptophan and something else. Wow, that would make for a few days of sleep for me.

I take the generic and do ok with it. When I fall asleep...I don't move taking it. I went without it for a month and was hitting the nyuil. I do exercise but just couldn't turn mind off.
