Trying to portray this killer as anything but a murdering SOB is maddening.
This young man went to this function with the full intention of stabbing someone.
I won't say he meant to kill, but he went to do injury.
That injury resulted in death and the punishment should be commensurate with the act.

I'm not prepared to get that carried away with it. For all I know the Metcalf kid was the aggressor and Anthony was simply defending himself. But whenever that Anthony spokesperson says anything, I have a strong desire to punch him in the face and I have to question the Anthony family who brought him on to speak for them. They also seem to be reveling in their new wealth and give zero effs about the young man who was killed and what that family is going through. They're not making a good impression.
And that right there is what leads me to believe that the little crap bag is guilty of murder.

I'm trying to keep an open mind but it's hard when the whole family AND their spokesman are so abhorrent. Just because he comes from a ghetto shitbag family doesn't necessarily make him a shitbag....although it probably does.
Yeah, the defense is going to claim self-defense but the Metcalf kid hadn't done anything aggressive and the two didn't have any history. Not sure how that will fly but who knows what jury tards will do.
I remember being stunned at the Casey Anthony verdict and that was the last time I expected a jury to have even a shred of common sense or decency.
Remember the Kate Steinle verdict? Illegal alien with an extensive criminal record shot and killed that girl right in front of everyone, and a jury found him not guilty.
So you just never know.
Anyone that pays attention to the news will know this fact. At a press conference held for a black person accused of murder, if anyone has a gun, it's not going to be the lone white dude in the back of the room. I guess to some adult lawyers, the boogie man is real. I bet this guy checks his closet and under his bed before he goes to sleep at night.

I do not understand how you can say that I got carried away with that post.
This killer went and sat in the tent that belonged to the opposition.
That was not a mistake it was done deliberately. He knew he did not belong there.
When he was asked to leave he refused . He brought a knife with him and pulled it and stabbed this white boy in the chest.
Now even if the white boy was wrong in trying to force the killer away from the tent, and I do not believe he was . If he was the aggressor. which is questionable. That does not give the killer the right to use a weapon and kill him. Self defense indicates fear. The killer was not in fear or he would simply have left.
IMO I was not being carried away when I stated he brought the knife there to stab someone in fact I believe that was being more than fair.
I could have stated he planned to kill himself a white boy and would still have been fair.
Simply I cannot understand how anyone can look at the stories we have seen and read and still believe this kid was simply defending himself from a situation he deliberately placed himself in.
I don't know that.
Because the media lies. They do it all the time to inflame situations and get clicks. Not just the progbot media but the conservative media as well, although not as often and not as egregiously.
I don't trust them to tell me the truth and I reserve the right to revise my opinion at any time.
And really, what I think doesn't matter anyway. The trial hasn't even started yet and I'm not on the jury, and there's nothing I can do about any of it. It's just something interesting to talk about, that's all. If you want to go to the mat, have fun - I choose not to.
I will say that my initial impression - see the thread title - is most likely the correct one and the perp's family isn't doing anything to change that.

I seem to remember Ron Goldman's family getting the money from OJ's book. After this trial I bet the Metcalf family would have no problem suing for wrongful death and arguing they should this money as it's profiteering off their son's death.
