Woman files lawsuit against AMR because passenger next to her masturbated while she slept

Can you say "Major Lawsuit?" She has a witness and (Yuck!) evidence. This is gonna cost the airlines mega bucks. This guy was either very bold or crazy or something!

Why is it the Airline's fault? They can't guarantee that you aren't going to be seated next to a perv.

I can see her suing the guy who did it, but the airline?

maybe she expected a bit of control by the airlines to try and insure a safe flight?

and, how come the witness didnt say anything while stroke was doing his thing?

something just sounds wrong.

I wonder if she knew the jerk off and the did this to initiate a law suit.

I was just going to make the same post. I can't see where it is the airline's fault. Are they supposed to sit in each section and babysit every passenger? I mean, I can see where she could have expected a certain level of "safeness," but she did go to sleep afterall. I see people sleeping on Metro all the time and I just can't see how they can leave themselves so vulnerable to anyone/everyone around them. JMO :ohwell:

She's going to win because this guy moved to that seat when it was not assigned to him and when she awakened and saw what he was doing she tried to get the flight crew's attention and they ignored her because they were preparing for landing. That's why another passenger came to comfort her in her crying hysterically. She's claiming the Airlines did not monitor the guy as a passenger or see to her needs. I'm not saying she's right, just that I can see her winning.
