I didn't think either of them were on their game last night. Bo was shaky, mumblish, and flat....and Carrie was all over the place with her notes, especially the long holds---every one of them in THREE songs was sharp.
Based on last night alone, I don't think either of them earned a vote.
Overall, however, I think Bo has been more consistent. He's shown that he can handle a variety of different styles, and make them fit his voice. He shines on the Southern rock and blues material, but I was impressed with his renditions of other genres, as well.
Carrie is a country singer. Period. She sings country songs VERY well, and even jazzes them up with her own style----but every time she's tried to sing a song from another genre, it's been laughable.
Based on that, Bo got my vote last night. Can't wait to see the finale!

She wasn't bad... but she wasn't all that and a bag of potato chips.
I thought the clincher was that Bo's song #3 was Carrie's song #1 and he demolished her with it.
Bo wins, but it's going to be close.

I mean really, can you see Bo Bice singing Roy Orbison's "Crying" like Karry did? No... his voice is too gruff... maybe its just me than, while we are at it, I hardly call his style as even "singing", I like clear voices not scratcy, gruff voices, etc... I consider clear voices to be more of a talent than the rough, please-clear-your-throat-soon, kind of voice :shrug: I see him as 100% fake, the beard he has suddenly tried to grow (stubble), etc... :shrug:

Good grief!!! We agree on something... 
I agree, especially given Bo's run in with the Cocain or whatever the charge was or wasn't... Here she is, innocent country girl gone from milking cows to singing and shaking from being so shy and nervous on live tv. 
I just don't like the "cool, dig-me" crap Bo is shoving down our throats, the sunglasses, everything. I like people that are real and Karrie seems to be real... and more vocally blessed :shrug:
