Tony Stewart inherited the points lead after a wacky race at Dover. It is the first time he has led the NSCS Championship Point Standings since November 2005, when he won his second championship. This is also only the 3rd year Stewart has led the point standings. The other two years he led the standings (2002, 2005), he won the Cup.

I honestly think Smoke threw away all of last season because he was in a Yota. He's a die-hard bowtie guy and wanted no parts of winning in that Jap machine.
He'd still be with JGR today if they were fielding chevy's..
