And Biden is Done

Speaking of done, has anyone posted this?

Instead of addressing Crow's and other moderate Democrats' concerns, Biden snapped at Crow and went on a full-blown assault, which ended with an attack on his Army and combat service and comparing it with his son Beau's service. Biden specifically ridiculed Crow's Bronze Star in a pathetic and out-of-bounds attack, which the campaign did not deny or dispute.

Is it just me, or does anyone else have the urge to rearrange Joyless Reid's face every time she opens her suck?

She and her Pippi Longstocking co-host on the end are complete morons if they think that they can make any equivalency between Biden and Trump.

I have NO sympathy for any of these Dems, media types, Hollywood idiots-they get exactly what they deserve.

Pippi Longstocking is a homely, freckled redhead with superhuman strength and given to telling outrageously ridiculous stories.

She's not superhuman.

I certainly agree that the Bronze star should only be given for valor in combat.
A friend spent some time in Iraq as a CG Investigator providing personnel security. He said they were handing out Bronze Stars like they were National Defense Service medals.

This is 100% true. My first trip over in early 2002, we were constantly engaging HVT's and seeing action several times a week. Came back with a JCOM with a "V", and my TC recieved a Bronze Star. This stayed fairly consistent throughout the OEF campaign.

Fast forward to my last trip to Iraq 6 years later, Officers in the JOC were getting Bronze Stars for doing their job, and an Army CPT got a Purple Heart for a f(&&*(&(ing splinter...and no that's not a joke.

I heard someone say on live TV that if Biden can over-come Covid, it's equivalent to Trump over-coming getting hit with a bullet. Personally, I think Trump will have some serious PTSD. How can he not, in my opinion? Yes, in the first moments after it happened, he got up and pumped his fist to the crowd but I'd imagine later on or days later, the reality hit him and he realized just how close he was to certain death.

I've known folks that came a lot closer to death (or "as close"..depending on how you view a missed bullet..) than Trump just was and were largely unaffected by the experience, once they healed physically, of course. I have no idea what percentages might apply but I do know that not everyone suffers any PTSD symptoms after traumatic events.

He sure is putting up a big bravado, and doesn't seem terribly bothered, but I'll bet he'll be paranoid, looking over his shoulder for a long time.

I do have to say that I wish they'd put a different kind of bandage on his ear. It looks like he has a Post It note stuck to his ear.
I was wondering, but it's probably a compromise between it needing to heal and not look gross. (?)

People get their cartilage on their ears pierced all the time, so maybe this is not as bad as it might have been?

I'd let the gore be seen.

I was kind of surprised he had it covered. Figured he'd want the damage on display. Did see an interview with Dr Terry Dubrow (plastic surgeon) say that he needed it covered because with that type of injury, the rate of infection and tissue dying is greater. He also pointed out that he doesn't think the top of his ear was blown off. He said with that much blood, it was probably a graze to the ear. He pointed out that when Mike Tyson bite off Hollyfield's (sp??) ear, it didn't bleed because the wound was further down on the ear.
