I find this argument fascinating and bizarre, on one hand it was just a cold, no big deal….but all international travel should have been shut down.

I'm not sure what you are getting at. Trump did the right thing initially. At the start of the COVID scare, it was known that it started in China and the best way to spread it to the US was through international travel. Every nation was doing the same. Over time it became apparent that COVID was nothing more than a variation strain of a coronavirus flu. It presented a particular danger to elderly people and those with health conditions, but it was not the pandemic scare that could wipe out 25% of the population indiscriminately as was first thought.

And also don't forget that the vaccine was developed by companies under the direction of Trump, and fast tracked by the Trump administration relaxing normal FDA rules. It's actually one of the things I don't understand about the far right. They are absolutely opposed to the vaccine. Yet it was the Trump admin that brought the vaccine to the public in record time. It is an accomplishment that Trump did. And yet most of the far right is anti-vax. That part I don't understand.

You’re treading on thin ice here, these folks hate any vaccines, no matter who asked for them.

See if they support a single vaccine, even polio, I’m sure they’ll go crazy.

Not all international traffic just the international traffic originating in china. This was dual purposed, it was to go hand in hand with the tariffs he was using.

That’s a stupid reply, very few people here are against vaccines. They are against being forced into taking an experimental practically untested vaccine that works completely different than the ones they’re used to. Me personally I got them early before the weight of the US government began demanding it, if I’d known it was going that way I would have fought it as an overreach.

Got it exactly. When we first got the news in the federal government that employees who refused the vaccine would be terminated from employment, my boss said he’d retire first. He would NOT be compelled to take it.

That is 100% the stance of every right wing person I know who refused the jab. Do not FORCE me.

(Here’s where someone will say it’s not force unless they hold you down and jab you. Of course. That’s why extortion, blackmail and racketeering aren’t actually crimes).

What amazes me is that everyone forgets that the left - like Kamala - proclaimed publicly they would NEVER take a vaccine developed by Trump - only to be first in line in December 2020.

This is a perfect example of contrasting the parties. The Dems are all compulsion.

The way you folks defend Trump is something, he was president over one of the most disruptive times in my lifetime. You can say COVID-19 was bs, but they airlifted him off the White House grounds. It was shocking and disturbing, it’s bizarre how anyone would ever give him a second chance at the presidency.
Di you smoke way to much PCP when you were young or are you just plain stupid

At least he isn't a convicted felon and convicted rapist who's never been impeached and never lost an election.
Man I just dont know what to say all the facts are right there in front of you of how good TRUMP was how great the country was during his term and you still dont believe it,we all know incuding you that TRUMP has done nothing wrong and all the BS is a witch hunt to make him look bad,and you know Dam well that there is no way in hell that many people voted for biden. And you know Dam well that this country is in the worst shape it has been in since another Deomcrat Carter was in office its funny that everytime a Democrat is in office the price of everything goes thru the roof and pretty much the opposite when the GOP is in office.

Wasn’t it ruled a homicide after the family had a second medical exam done by a doctor that was selected by sharpton or one of those other race baiters looking for a payout?
No Dr Andrew Baker did the Original and testified at the trial that it was a homicide. Blondie just doesn't like it because it didn't jive with her false narrative. Then she accused me of lying when it is right there in black and white. Gotta laugh.

Trump's biggest mistake was listening to Faucci. It was also Biden's biggest mistake.
This little Faucci turd, is responsible for closing the schools, for the masks, for the distancing, and the one way sign in the aisles of grocery stores.
Follow the science. A science that was responsible for the gain of function research that created Covid and sent money to China to pay for it. He was responsible for people not getting Ivermectin and Hydrachloridine which could have saved many lives. This little bass turd ran wild for almost 2 years, and is responsible for many deaths. A medical Nazi.

Trump threw this county into chaos which culminated in the COVID-19 era and then ended with Jan 6.

Yeah, let me stop you right there. It was you Dembots causing the chaos. You ranted and raved, glued yourselves to the street, shut down whole cities and torched them because you were having a toddler meltdown that you didn't get your way.

That was you people.

You can say, "Oh, well, Donald Trump made me do that!" but that is so laughable I could barely type the words.

You bots DEMANDED that Trump shut everything down so you didn't die of the flu, screamed holy hell that he was KILLING EVERYONE!!! So now you want to bitch and moan that he supported what YOUR "experts" told him to do???

Every single bit of upheaval throughout Trump's presidency was you people. And every time I see one of you whine like your mental illness is Trump's fault I want to smack you right in the face.

"Oh well if Mommy would let me eat cookies for dinner I wouldn't have to have a tantrum!"

One of the most annoying traits in humans is when they spout a lie, you give them proof that they are wrong, and they double down.

It's psychologically fascinating, though. What happened to you in your childhood that makes you this way? Overbearing helicopter parents, so now you're rebelling? Overindulgent parents, so you're not used to anyone telling you no? Why is your psyche so fragile and insecure that you are incapable of admitting when you're wrong, even when presented with irrefutable proof?

It can't be because you're trying to convince anyone else - it's impossible for you to be that moronic - so it must be that you're trying to convince yourself. "I is smart, I is kind, I is important." You would rather look like a complete fool than admit you're wrong. It stuns me that people go through life like that.

Trump trusted a lot of "experts" who were rapacious wolves. Either they were being paid to destroy Trump and take us out with him, or they did it because they're simply scumbags.

Trump was caught between a rock and a hard place. The Dembots were screaming at him to "do something!!!" and that he was trying to kill us all. Then when he "did something" they screamed with rage about that as well. Oh, and burnt down whole cities. Beat and killed people.

Mindless unreasonable reactives irritate and terrify me. It's like a zombie apocalypse - these slavering half-wits shambling around.... " *grunt* Brains..... *grunt* "

:shudder:

Funny, I reported a conversation I had with a coworker here about three weeks back. He used that "conservatives don't believe in vaccines" line. To which I mentioned to him that we generally do. What we don't believe in is govt statements about vaccines when they were caught lying time after time.

1. It will stop you from getting covid. Nope, that was a lie.
2. It will stop you from transmitting it. Nope, that was a lie.
3. It will stip you from getting is a second time. Nope, that was a lie.

He then tried the "Sometimes you ahve to lie for the greater good".

To which I told him that once those lies are exposed, you have hurt yourself them next time around because nobody will believe you. Hell, this guy still thinks masks made a difference. And that this virus was maybe natural in origin.
