Sorry about that chief.
Coming back from DC the other day I noticed a sign at Thompson's Seafood in Mechanicsville for "Marsh Rabbit" .

I thought what is the diff between marsh rabbits and run of the mill bunnies until I found out what it is.

Anybody know?

Hint: Captain & Tenille sang a song about them.

Man the people here will eat anything!

It's a rabbit

Don't forget the UK, with haggis and blood pudding.

Or how about disgusting Southern foods like chitlins and pigs' feet?

Now you've done it.

Why? Once I passed through a kitchen when chitlins were cooking. I would have clawed my way through 20-foot-thick titanium to get away from the smell.

:roflmao: Once upon a time I worked as a bag boy in Jerkwater USA........anyway, there was a sale on Chitlins.....everyone ran to get them first but as they shopped, the chitlins thawed out. :barf:

Because busting on anything Southern is like saying her name three times.

I love other Southern food, like barbecue and ribs and Creole dishes and fried catfish. Weird that that area of the country doesn't know that you're not supposed to eat pig intestines. (Now I'm afraid to ask what parts are in sausage.) That's awfully close to eating pig shiat.

Then how did they get to Maryland?
According to the article that I got the picture from, they are found in MD too. "One of the coastal area’s common residents, the marsh rabbit belongs to the family Leporidae. It is one of four species of rabbits in the genus Sylvilagus that are native to the Carolinas, Virginia, and Maryland."
