Okay Larry, she should have started round 2. How's she doing?

Annika didn't make it. She lost 4 more strokes to par, and finished at +5 for the tournament. The cut was +1, so she's not going to be around for Sat. or Sunday.
I got home and caught the last 9 holes; she had completed the first 9 holes at 3 over par. Then she ran into some bad luck - some short approaches to the greens and came up with some long putts. So she lost 2 more to par with some long putts that died about 8 to 10 feet short of the pin, and wound up shooting a 74.
One guy from her threesome shot a 2 under for the tournament, and the other shot a +8, and he too won't get a chance to play on the weekend.
So, she played admirably, came up only 4 strokes shy of making the cut.
Is it indicative of her fate, should she play more tournaments on the PGA Tour? Who knows. Time will speak more about this particular event than I can say. She gave it a good shot, though.
