And if the cause is to stop drug warlords, why not ban ciggarettes. Hizbollah has a huge market in tobacco sales and gets a lot of money off that (I'm not saying cigs should be banned either). I think we should just stop trying... I don't have a problem with anybody smoking pot - just as long as they aren't blowing it in my face or working while they're stoned.

I just don't have a problem with it. The amount that they're talking about is probably very small so how much would it really compromise their daily functions?

Before the federal government cracked down on research, enough had been learned to persuade the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve, in 1986, the marketing of dronabinol (Marinol).
The apparent benefits some patients would derive from using marijuana outweigh any substantiated or even suspected risks. In the same spirit the FDA uses to hasten the approval of cancer drugs, federal laws should be relaxed in favor of states' rights to allow physicians to administer marijuana to their patients on a caring and compassionate basis.

Anyone who has the excruciating pain associated with cancer....give it to them!
If there is hope for people with alzheimers, using marijuana, fire it up!
