If you've got a jacket and gloves on, no big deal but the first hot day you ride with a t- shirt on....Dougstermd said:I always wondered if those tassel whipped alot. now I Know

I am going over and starting my tomorrow(and change my clutch/brake hangy down things)....that counts, too!
I have those on my little bike and never got whipped by them. Of course, that bike never went over 65.Dougstermd said:I always wondered if those tassel whipped alot. now I Know

It'll be a lot more fun in a tent.. especially if you get hooked with our group. I might have a designated drive so might not be too bad.. but the most fun is had in the campground. Don't expect to sleep much!ItsGene said:

Did you get the Iron Braid? the look good and add grip to the levers.
I had some lace on ones on a previous bike. Had to braid the fringe and add beads and slip shot sinkers to keep them from whipping the sh1t out of my arms when riding
Glad you made it through unscathed.. good save!Pete said:I rode today. I nearly bought it hard on the curve down from the house. Sharp curve in the shade. 973 miles.. I need to take a sideroad on the way up to get the 1000 in 24 hours needed for the Saddle Sore 1000.

Since I'll be driving up there in the luxury of my SUV, I'll just toss a sleeping bag for you into the back.ItsGene said:

I wouldn't do it with any more then 5 or 6 bikes per group. I think I'd prefer even a smaller group on a long ride where you are trying to "beat the clock"aps45819 said:Pax river chapter of the SCRC is planning a run down to SC down 95 and back to qualify this summer.
No, that's for the IBR, 11,000 miles in 11 days.kwillia said:Do they issue you the engraved, gold-plated jar of Tucks before or wait until you've actually hit the 1,000 in 24 mark?
