I know some very upset kids that missed the Solomons show. Who would have thought that Solomons Business Association would have set theirs off at 8:15 in the 10 minute window that they had that it didn't rain hard? I mean, did anybody go? Cripes, even the sherrifs office told us that they had been cancelled.

Anyhow, anybody know of any firworks shows in the general area that will be happening this evening?

I would appreciate the info.

We saw them and the kids didn't miss much. It was still entirely too light outside so they were hard to se efor the most part. But I do appreciate them setting them off, seems like they tried everything they could to set them off....

The only place I can think of is the Bowie Baysox game tonight. A bit of a hike but their fireworks are always good. :yay:

You're all F'in Mad...
St Marys Freedomfest had a permit for the 4th and 5th rain date, so it's effectively cancelled.

Apparently with new ATF rules they had to set them off on the 5th or they would have been destroyed plain and simple is what the girl running the show told us at Solomons. So I was glad they atleast got a chance to set them off and not completely waste all that money.

The Enterprise has an article. They had a 2 day permit for the fireworks for the st mary's freedom fest. The ATF has nothing to do with it, it's state regulations, and they will not be destroyed. They are trying to work out another date to set off the fireworks at another festival.

I know he was, but the state regulations are the same no matter which side of the bridge they are on, and I knew what was going on from the owner of the fairgrounds as well.

Also maybe the woman wasn't being true or accurate. You know not everyone tells the entire truth as we may want to think. :buttkick:

Oh, I didn't know she had a walkie talkie and was talking to someone. Then she must have known what was going on, and Im sure she was truthful in answering all the peoples questions, over and over again.

Breaker 10-10-9 that's a go on the fireworks, I'm just trying to get these poeple to think I'm running it, over good buddy.
