I just had Wife remind me...
Sneade's in Lusby...I have been going since it was the HW store down in the old plaza in Solomons....seems like every two weeks I am wandering through there...

& I can't believe I forgot LEDO's...Both PF & Lusby.

First place I had to visit when moving here 35 years ago: Mike Paxson State Farm in PF...He is STILL in the office!

Do you remember when Mark's was Steve's.
I thought he was an a$$. Screwed me over.
Actually, I think it was Steve's when I got the bus. I remembered people saying that he was an ass. I think I overpaid for the bus, but I had to own it. I never had any other dealings there.

Ledo's…..started going there in the 1960's on University Blvd. in Adelphi when it was a dark long narrow restaurant. The one and only. Leonies was further up the road in lovely Langley Park.

:yay: Grew up in that area.

You forgot Tick-Tock, Crazy Horse and Lees.

Lees, down Queenstown by BJ Epps motors, and the Ford dealership...
Yep.

The Newstand right across the street was where my Uncle picked up his racing forms. Rays TV shop next door. Great Wall. Cant remember the name of the ford dealership that was adjacent to the drive in.

 The first car I bought was from Palmer Ford, over by Queens Chapel Drive In.
Palmer Ford was the name I've been trying to remember for hours. Thanks. :yay:

My mothers first new Mustang, 66, was bought there.

That was a great little area to grow up in during the 60s and early 70s.

I wouldn't wanna live there now for $1million.

Right around the corner from there heading towards the district was a little side road before the bridge where Mighty Mos sat.

Yeah, it got bad in the mid 70s..Grandparents lived over that way until Leisure World off Georgia Ave opened up. My uncle and eldest brother-in-law hung there in the late 50s and 60s, big Mighty Mo fans with tons of stories.
