Quick question. I know somebody that used to dj back in the mid 90's that'd be interested in working there. Still has their license, but no longer has a copy of their tape. Would they be able to apply without having tape?

Man, this has been a harsh thread. Didn't read -everything-, sheesh, just skipped around and found the good stuff...

Just checked out 98.3 after a few months and I really enjoy the new morning show! Dawn and Boomer. They sound good. Dawn's got a really sexy voice...perfect for radio in the morning. :) I think they'll be fine. And have many of you are truly "locals" here that have been bashing them for not being locals? Just remember what it was like when.... Don't chase 'em off too soon; give them a chance.

I'll have to check out 97.7 too; didn't know they changed formats. Maybe I'll be able to get a single radio station for an entire trip in Southern Maryland?! 99.5 morning show is great, but it depends on the day if its clear or nonexistent.

Yes. I can't deal with either version. There are very few songs I just can't tolerate and that is one of them. "Close to You" by the Carpenters makes my ears bleed, also.

I love that song... 23 years later, it still makes me want shake my moneymaker.

That was my first thought too, then I realized that Robertson is probably too cheap to get internet service to be able to read the posts.
