Anyone Else Pre-Order the Galaxy S III?

I want to but the "transfer your upgrade" doesn't work like i thought it did so now I have to figure out plan B. My phones slowly dying and not sure it will make it til Nov when I'm technically due for an upgrade :(

Verizon. The upgrade is on a line we don't use. If I "transfer" the upgrade I can get the discounted phone and then activate it to my # but the contract renews on the # you took the upgrade from. So id be paying for my normal bill, the phone and a phone line I plan on dropping. Make sense?

I went to Best Buy, transferred my upgrade from a dumb phone to my line and kept my unlimited data. Whoever gave you that info gave you some wrong info.

Only because the wife let the daughter use her available upgrade recently, and we just saw online that the wife's line was listed as no upgrade available while the daughters showed one available. Makes no sense, but that apparently how they do it. When the wife upgrades, it will be using the one on the daughters line.

Me, I'm kinda torn over the Razr Maxx and the Droid 4. Was solid for the Droid 4 until I tried Swype yesterday, now I might be okay with not having a qwerty keyboard. And the Saturn V class battery the Maxx is packing is very attractive.

i'll get to keep my data too. Line 555-1234 has the upgrade available. My phone doesnt upgrade til Nov. If I transfer the upgrade to me, they are saying you have to renew the contract on line 555-1234 and the phone can be activated to (me) 666-6789. I do not want to do a new contract to 555-1234 but that's how it works.

Can't Wait!!

I pre-ordered through AT&T, and am converting from an iPhone 3GS to the Galaxy. I am ready to see how "the other side" lives. I've read rumors that AT&T will be shipping by June 18, but I'm not holding my breath.

If you are a new customer to verizon or a data plan, I think it already passed. If you have unlimited data already on your line then you get to keep it.

Yeah, i know. I wanted to upgrade to the SGS3 using hubbys upgrade, but now he's thinking of getting rid of his smartphone and going back to a regualr one. That will save a little more on our bill.
