if you don't feel comfortable actually locking them in a room (which I myself do find a little extreme) just put a baby gate up at their door. I have done this since the oldest figured out how to climb out of the crib. Before they figured out how to remove the baby gate they would call for me. Now that they are older (4 and 5) I still use the baby gate-not to keep them in their room as they can easily open it now..but it gives me peace of mind because when they wake up in the middle of the night and feel the need to wander around -them removing the gate instantly wakes me up. Something that would alert you to your child being up and about, gate, bell, etc should be sufficiant enough for you to wake up and put their butt back to bed-that simple.

Who is this really? We all know that NoMo never gives good advice.

For all you azztards that think I locked my child in her room, I simply prevented her from leaving her room without assisance. It's not like I left her in there with a bowl of water and slice of bread screaming for hours.
