In My Opinion
although I would highly doubt that slaphappy is a perv just looking to find this girl, I think that had it been brought up in a different way, it was a very valid point.

It is a sad reference to what this country has become but the truth is that it is too easy for a perv to operate anymore.

Good thinking to post it here slaphappy, and should somebody know who it is, I hope that they also have the good sense not to post any information that could identify her on the forum.

yeah, you always have to be careful, I was meeting a friend a Target and came across it in the parking lot when we left the store. Figured this would be the best place to try to find the owner.
I imagine they take a lot of pictures, each of the folders was created somewhere within the past 7-10 days, 4 folders, filled with pictures, the way a digital camera does it.

 Looks like a childish person with many MPD accounts.:lmao:

So, did you find the person to give the memory stick back to? I found one in Florida at a condo that I rented for the week. I tried to contact the renatal company to see if they can ask past renters if they lost a memory card but the rental agency did not want to do it.

Thank you for taking the time and energy to search for the owner of the memory card. Sentimental value cannot be replaced. I am sure they will be very grateful for your efforts, if found. I know I would. You could have left it there, destroyed it, or kept it -- you didn't, you're a heck of a person. :high5:

For safety reasons, maybe turning it in to the Sheriff's office wouldn't be a bad idea? That way, the owner could just pick it up there instead of giving out an address to a stranger.

a name nor address has to be given...they could just meet at a mutual location in public and have it returned (with some way to prove it was their card preferably lol)

The Sheriff's office could easily verify that. After all, if something is lost, isn't that the place you turn something in to? Not trying to argue with you, but some ppl might feel awkward even meeting in public. I would be very suspicious myself. This just isn't the day and age you can afford to give ppl the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe reading all the child abduction cases on Fox news has made me paranoid.
And for the record, I'm not calling this person a criminal or anything.. but this is just what I would do to give the parent of this little girl peace of mind if I'd found this.

yeah, but nobody is making you bring the kid with you. nor is anyone saying that it is a woman that owns this camera/mem card. im sure she could bring a big, burly friend with her if that is the case to pick up the card. I'll agree that it might work taking it to the police station, but they also have more important things to deal with than finding a home for this mem card...
