Gosh we're definately going down memory lane for me. I used to got to Club Sunrise quite often. Great place at the time. Too bad the good places such as Leonardtown Wharf aren't around any more. I'm sure I'm not the only one with memories of Leonardtown Wharf.

I lived in Calvert County when I went to Wilmer's. Does anyone remember a band called Havoc? They had to change their name originally they were called Madhatter. :howdy:

I went to high school with the band Madhatter....do I know you?

I have all the original KIX members autographs from the early to mid 80's because I was convinced they were going to be famous one day. I think I still have them in my photo album. Think I could make some money on E-bay?

Just an FYI...

If you are going to purchase tickets for the KIX show from one of the links on their website, DO NOT purchase tickets for the Hagerstown show. The club "Stingers Pub", who was supposed to host this show shut down last month. There is still some dispute about them funding the show like originally agreed and now it looks like they have backed out again. I bought my tickets for this show back in June and it looks like I am going to have to fight with the credit card company to get my money back.

However, I did see KIX last September and they still jam. It was an awesome show. If you are a KIX fan, I highly recommend you see one of their shows.

Ahhh Wilmers Park. It was a great place from what I remember lol.

The wife and I used to go there when we were just friends. Battle of the Bands!

I miss Wilmers Park, had some great times there in the 80's.... :frown:

And I did see KIXX at The Ark & Dove... which is now a Food Lion. :frown:

Someone might have already posted this (dial up makes it tough to read all previous posts) but Kix is coming to solomons this Saturday night. My brother and me are going to dinner with them before the show. His friend knows them well not me or my brother, just tagging along. I used to steal my brothers kixx tapes from his room and listen to them on my walkman. Tesla, Ratt, Cinderella, Warrant, Great White, Def leopard, skid row, poisen, well let me stop now, I could go on forever.
